POV Hannah
I think of them. Then a light appears in a flash. I hear beeping, I open my eyes. "Hannah" I hear. "Hannah" I hear again. I look around, my eyes on Spencer. He looks tired a so happy. "Hannah, I love you big sister. I thought we lost you like dad." Thomas says. "I heard you guys talking. So I tried to wake up, I'm not leaving you yet Tom. Speaking of dad, I saw him." I say
"He told me to tell mom that he loves her, and Thomas to have fun not to grow up too fast. Cherish your childhood. To Lucy that she was like a second daughter to me, that she'll always be part of the family. And to Spencer, that he's a nice kid. Also that if he ever hurts me he'll come back from the dead to haunt him." I laugh at that thought.
"He said he'd haunt me if I ever hurt you. How is that a laughing matter? Spencer asks "Well I guess then that you should never hurt me then." I reply "I'll try my best then." He says. "Lucy I am sorry for shutting you out, I was sad about dad and mad at Spencer." I say. "You are forgiven." Lucy says. "Can I talk to Spencer alone please." I ask
"Yeah, sure. What do you want to talk to me about?" He questions. "I'm sorry for being so persistent on the mystery. It came from my dad, so I wanted to know what he last words were. You know like a special type of closure for me. I never got to say goodbye to him when he died. Though when I was in that coma I did see him and finally say goodbye. And my family now knows his last words to them too. So I'm happy about that." I say
"Oh I'm sorry for trying to get you to stop looking then, and calling it a stupid mystery. Although if you told me about the reason, or that it was from your dad I would have know why it was so important to you." Spencer says.
POV Spencer
I really am sorry, if I had known I wouldn't have told her to stop. And the she got in that accident because of me too. If I was there I could have helped her get that clue and she wouldn't have been hurt. "It's not your fault Spence. I should have told you." She says as if she senses that I'm blaming myself.
"Well I can help you solve it if you want. I mean you probably don't. I did shut you out and avoid you after the argument." I say "No, Spence I do want your help. I can't do this on my own, the injuries I have now are proof of that. I need your help. Also nobody else knows about the clues or the letter I got from dad. And I like your company." She says with a blush.
"Hey Spence, what's the date?" She asks. Oh right, she doesn't know how long she's been in a coma for. "It's now May 13th 2014, you fell of the old bridge on April 28 2014. So you've been in a coma for.....two weeks and a day. You have a broken arm and leg, you also have a concussion." I say
"Wow, I can't believe it. There's a moment of silence then she breaks it. "Where's my clue that I found on the bridge?" She asks. "Oh that, here.' I say as I give it to her.
