Dylan

"Hey..."

I turned and found my sister Lia standing by the door.

"Hey," I responded.

"We'll find her," she said.

"Everyone needs to stop saying that," I said. "It just makes me feel worse. It makes me think about every second that passes by and what he could be doing to her..." I trailed off.

"Dyl..."

"I'm sorry. I just...," I paused, trying to get a hold of myself. "No words can ever take away the fear and the pain I'm feeling. I need her in my arms. I want her beside me..." I sobbed. "I..."

Lia rushed to my side and wrapped her arms around me tight.

I finally let go and held onto her as I cried.

Katherine

This is it. I'm going to die, I thought to myself as he pointed the gun at me.

Oh god... I haven't even told Dylan that I wanted to marry him. That I was sorry and I was just scared, but that I knew that he was my forever. My one true love. I would marry him any time and anywhere.

So many times I've let my fear rule me. Now I'm faced with knowing that this is it. I'm going to die, I can't help but be filled with regrets. I should have been braver. Stronger. But now it's too late.

I closed my eyes shut and waiting for the pain to come.

*bang*

I jumped and flinched at the same.

Dylan

"He's smart. He's not going to put properties under his name. It will be an alias of some sort," Nate said.

"I've gathered all the information for when Lia was abducted. I'm going to look at all the places and properties that was in connection to the abduction and the Riveras' at the time, to cover all our bases," Allan said.

"He'll be taking her somewhere they've met or somewhere he has a connection with. That's the place that we need to look out for. Connect the dots," Dave added.

"Lia, can you think of a place? Have you met seen him during..." Dave stopped, suddenly conscious of how all of this might be affecting Lia.

"It's fine," Lia said. "I'm fine. I'll help in any way I can. I'll tell you everything you need to know," she assured us.

"Do you remember seeing him?"

"Not him, but I have seen and met his father. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he's worse than the Riveras'. He'll kill for no reason other than it's a means of entertainment for him. He rapes men and women and shares them with his goons and business associates..." she trailed off and frowned.

"What is it Sunshine?" Nate asked. "And how do you know all of this?"

"I heard Carlos and Miguel talk about him. Miguel has told me about him too. He used him to scare me into submitting to him. And..." she hesitated again.

"What?" I asked.

"I've heard them talking once about how he was repeatedly raping his son, as well as his goons," Lia said.

Oh god... I think I'm going to be sick. A part of me felt sorry for the young boy who had to go through that,  but I'm finding it hard to feel sorry for the man he is now. Not after everything that he has done and continues to do.

"I've only ever seen Sanchez at Miguel's and Carlos' place."

"He wouldn't bring her there. That place is too obvious. He would take her somewhere more private. Secluded maybe," Allan said.
