Hidden {Makoharu}

Makoto's POV:

I can't seem to really help it. From the beginning I understood Haru was to be my soulmate but from where I see it he just wants me as his best friend. "Come on Makoto we're going to be late for practice." said Nagisa in his most cheerful voice. I ran after him following him to the our school's pool. When we got there Haru was already swimming (obviously). Rei greeted Nagisa and kissed him on the cheek. Since Nagisa and Rei have been together they have been insuperable which makes me happy for them as they found love. I yet am to tell my soulmate. After practice we headed out for slushies to congratulate everyone after such hard work towards the upcoming tournament. Once we finished Haru and I said goodbye to Rei and Nagisa as we split ways home.

Haru's POV:

Walking home with Makoto was usual as we lived close to each other. The silence between the walk would turn out awkward since Makoto has been acting up recently that he isn't his usual self. "Mako are you okay?" I asked him in my concerned tone. "Y-yeah, everything's fine, why do you ask?" "You've just been acting weird lately I was getting worried." Silence "I'm fine, I swear." We walked in silence the rest of the way home I waved goodbye to Makoto as he entered his house and kept walking home. I have known Makoto for the longest time and he is my best friend, yet fate decided to make him my soulmate.

Makoto's POV:

I walked into my house as the sun was beginning to set. "I'm home!" I yelled out into the house. I heard footsteps coming from the stairs which could only mean my little brother and sister were coming to greet me. "Makoto's home!" They shouted in unison. I gave them both hugs and asked them about their day. They started to get tired. I told them that it was getting late and that they should go to bed. They sadly agreed and pouted as they went upstairs. I put my bags down and sat down at the table to eat some leftovers from tonight's dinner. Once I finished eating I cleaned up and headed upstairs. I went into my room and sat down on my bed. I heard a vibration coming from my pocket, it was my phone a text from Nagisa. "Are you going to tell him?" I read the text and was confused I texted back. "Tell who, what?" Another text: "Haru about how you're soulmates." How did he know. I've always tried my best to keep it hidden. Did he tell Rei or worse Haru? I reply: "What are you talking about?" Hopefully he buys it. "I know you're lying Makoto I saw the tattoo on your wrist it clearly reads Nanase Haruka." Who told him? Why is he confronting me about. It's not like I'm going to do anything about it. " Did you tell anyone?" He replies:
"Of course not but please confront him about it you guys would be so cute together." Thank God. "I obviously can't do that I could lose him as a friend. Nagisa I'm scared to lose the one person I love and care about the most."
