Hidden {Makoharu}

Trapped

Haru's POV:

I opened the door to my empty house and walked into my bedroom i sat on my bed contemplating to myself much about how Makoto was acting weird. Maybe he found his soulmate ? I thought to myself. I myself didn't have a name on my wrist which I thought meant that I was to never have someone love me. I always had feelings for Makoto since we were kids but i could never be with him because he had a name on his wrist, that I never got to read , he has a soulmate but I wanted so badly for the name to read mine.  I just laid on my bed thinking how great life would be if Makoto were mine. I turned my head to see my clock on my nightstand which read 12:34, it was getting late so I decided it was best to go to sleep in order to get up in time to sit in my bathtub.

Makoto's POV:

I woke up to the blaring sound of my alarm clock which read 7:10, I realized that I was going to be late to school. I got up did my morning routine and ran to Haru's house. I skipped breakfast and thought to myself Haru's going to make mackerel anyways. When I reached his house I didn't bother to ring the doorbell as I already knew what he was up to. I got in through the back door and walked toward his bathroom, " Haru I'm coming in." I yelled to signal him. I opened the door and as always Haru in his swimsuit enjoying the water. "Let me help you out Haru-chan." I teased. " I thought i told you no to call me that." He replies sternly. I giggle as I watch him walk to his kitchen as he puts on his apron, I sat at the table waiting for Haru to finish grilling us mackerel. I thought last night about finding a way to confess to Haru because I couldn't hide the fact much longer. Interrupting my thoughts Haru walks toward me and hands me my plate. We start to eat as fast as possible as the time reads 8:07 on Haru's wall clock and school starts at 8:30. Once we finish Haru goes to his room to get dressed for school. I wait at his door and we start walking down the road to school. When we get there we meet up with Nagisa and Rei. "Makoto can I talk to you for a minute." Nagisa asks. He kisses his soulmate's cheek and pulls me over to the side. " Did you tell him." He asks anxiously. "I couldn't find the right way or time to." " You better hurry because I've been hearing that Rin seems interested." He replies with a serious tone. My face turns a bright red hearing the news with both anger and embarrassment. "I can't tell him, it would be awkward if he rejected me." I reply trying my hardest to keep my tears from dropping. "You have to no matter what. I'm sorry but keeping it in will hurt you even worse Mako..." the tears couldn't stay in anymore they fell down my face I felt that I was trapped in a horrible situation I didn't know how to escape. Nagisa told me to go to the bathroom to wash up before meeting up with Haru again.
