Until Next Time

Makoto's POV

It's been a week since I've left Haru and I keep restraining myself from going back. I can't shake the feeling that he's better off without me. Even though he's my supposed soulmate, he deserves someone else not me. He should be fine without me and I without him.

Haru's POV

Makoto didn't come to school or swim practice for the past week I didn't bother to check on him since he always has his reasons. I decided to leave it alone but since a week has gone by he's still not back. The longest he's been gone is 3 days. It's currently 1pm and I get out of school at 1:30 today, so I decide to go check on him to make sure he's okay.

I arrive at Makoto's house and ring the doorbell. His little brother answers the door. "Hi Haru are you looking for Mako?" he asks. "Yeah I actually am, do you know where he is?" I asked. "Didn't he tell you? He moved to Tokyo." As the words were coming out of his mouth I froze. I couldn't believe what he was saying. "Mako in Tokyo?" I asked him. "Yep he left last week, well I have to do homework so bye Haru." He closed the door and I just stood there. I felt tears rushing down my cheeks. Mako left me. Why? I ask myself. Makoto knew I was getting better, he knew that I loved him and NOW HE DECIDES TO LEAVE! I run to Nagisa's house and barge in without notice. "WHY DIDN"T YOU TELL ME!" I yelled at him. "What are you talking about?" he chuckles nervously. "WHY DID MAKOTO LEAVE!" I scream. "He didn't want you to hurt anymore. He said that IT WAS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!" he yelled back. I calm myself down a bit and process what has just been told to me.

This chapter is really short sorry for not updating regularly. I promise that I will try harder. I will write a oart 2 to this so that coming. Hope you enjoyed this little chapter.
