Chapter 9

Me and the girls are pretty tipsy already and we aren't even there yet. Mia has been making us laugh so much. Cassie said Jack and some of the other boys are coming along, and you know what I can't wait. I haven't seen Oli in ages and I can't wait to see him. I doubt Conor will be there.

We get to club and order some drinks. Someone taps me on the shoulder, I turn round and it's Oli I give him a massive hug. I turn round to see Conor, he is here and he is with the same girl I saw him with the other day. My heart instantly sinks to my stomach. I take a deep breath and ignore it. We wasn't together so why should I be bothered. Mia notices that I'm distracted and she whispers in my ear 'are you ok' I nod and do my shot! Tonight I'm getting fucked!!

I start to feel a little dizzy so I go out side for a Moment and Jack follows me.

'Leela, are you ok?'
'I'm fine' I say slurring
'I didn't know he was bringing her I promise'
'I'm fine, I'm fine'
'Do you want a drink?'
I nod and he walks off, I go to walk in and someone stops me, it's Conor.

'Get of me' I say annoyed
'Leela, I can explain'
'Mate you don't need to explain to me'
'Mate?'
'Well that's what we are aren't we? Mates'
'Leela don't be like that, you know I like you'
'Liked'
'No I like you'
' then why are you here with her?'
'Jess'
'I'm going'
I go to walk and he stops me again.
'I saw her outside and she was upset so I came in with her and we got a drink, I'm not here with her, we just happen to be in the same place'
'Whatever Conor, we not together and you can do what ever the fuck you like'

He doesn't say anything you can tell that upset him.

'Look Conor, tell her if she messages me again I will lose my shit with her'

I walk off and he lets me go!

Conor POV
What the hell?
Why does she make me feel like this.  I feel like I've just been punched in the stomach.  I can't believe how much I like this girl and I hardly know her.  I need to sort this out. 

'Jack, have you seen Jess?'
'Conor, you know how I feel about her'
'No Jack it's not like that, I need to find her and tell her to leave me the fuck alone, Jack I don't ever want to see her again.  I want to be with Leela! I want to make things work with her'
'Conor your drunk'
'I've been drinking yes but I haven't been so sure as I am now'
'Just forget about Jess then, look everyone comes back to ours, talk to Lee then'
' Okay'

Leela POV
I go to get a drink when I see Mason my ex at the bar and it makes me stop in my tracks.  Me and Mason didn't part on the best of terms.  We had a huge argument when he was drunk one evening and he strangled me to the point of me passing out, I have never seen him since. 
I turn around and go out side,  I feel like I'm in a panic all of a sudden, everyone is inside and I wish I had someone here with me, I  turn around to find someone and walk straight into Mason!

'Leela, how are you? I have missed you so....'
I cut him off
'Leave me alone'
'Leela that's no way to talk to me when we haven't seen each other for so long'
'Please just leave me alone, I don't ever want to see you again'
He pulls me in for a hug and holds me so tight I can't get him off.

I see someone coming out, it's Conor, I look over to him and mouth for him to help.  He just walks of and leaves me.

I start to cry and panic.

'Don't get upset Leela, I won't hurt you'
'Get of me'
I say trying to get away!
'Get off of her now you bastard'
Cassie shouts and Jack comes running over.  Mason lets me go and Jack threatens to call the police and Mason walks away.

'Lee are you ok' Jack says pulling me in to a hug. Cassie is stroking my hair.
I nod
'Come Lee lets go'
I say I want to go home but some how still end up going back to Jacks.

I sit down on the sofa with a beer in my hand, everyone is having a great time and I'm just sat here.
I go to get up to get ready to go home and Josh asks to speak to me.
'You ok?'
'Leela I'll just get straight to the point, you can't say you like someone then hug someone else'
'What are you talking about?'
'Conor saw you with a guy, he really likes you Leela'
'Josh I really like him to, that guy he saw me with was Mason my ex'
'Oh Leela are you ok?' Josh knows all about him. 
'I'm fine, where is Conor? I need to explain to him'
'His upstairs in his room'

I runs up and go to knock on his door but it's open and his sat on the bed with head phones in. 
I stand looking at him for a while before he looks at me and takes his head phones off.

'Can I talk to you?' I ask
'Erm ok'
'Can I come in?'
'Yer'
'That guy you saw me with earlier'
'Dont'
'Conor please let me explain'
'Leela we not together you don't need to explain to me anything'
'Conor' I say feeling down
'What Leela? We not even together and it's been nothing but stress'
I get up and go to leave.
'Lee I'm sorry, I didn't mean that'
I explain to Conor about Mason and he pulls me in for a hug.
'Babe I'm so so sorry, I didn't know what you was saying to me and I walked away because I thought you was getting with him'
'It's ok'
He moves the hair from my face and tucks it behind my ear.
'I'm sorry, can I make this up to you?'
' you don't need to'
Before I know it we are kissing.  It's so passionate!
I could stay and kiss him all day. 

We go down stairs and get a drink. We all have a great night.
I get home and I can't stop smiling!
I can't wait to see Conor tomorrow!
