The sweetest boy she ever met,
the timing wrong and sad.
She knew more was not what she wanted,
she never realised what she had.
Together the time was not enough,
to barely get to know.
But time was time enough for her,
to be left to feel hollow.
She was introduced to loneliness,
she thought she was immune.
The long nights drowned her in frustration,
surely, it'd have to pass soon.
The silence was steady and deafening,
his love one of her fears.
So behind her eyes she placed him,
and cried him out in her tears.
