The easy road is a trick.
It makes you believe that it's what you want and sweeps you along, feeding off your ignorance.
When the bliss begins to fade, you start to wonder why you felt so empty or why you let it change you.
At the end of the easy road, there is only tears for the pieces of yourself that you lost.
And there is a promise too, to remember to resist the next pull.
Because the easy road is a trick.
