I was getting worried with every day since Selena heard that Mason's brother was out of jail. She got more distant and even tried to ignore me. I feel like she's hiding something from me that I cant seem to figure out. What was happening.
"Selena?" I call out the house, hearing a weak respond coming from the bedroom. I practicly run up the stairs and to our bedroom. There she was sitting in bed looking out the window. She sat completely still almost like a doll. I could hear her breathing...
"Sel whats going on? What arent you telling me?" I ask bluntly as I slowly come closer to the bed... to her. She doesnt even look at me. I could tell she had been crying and it hurt me deeply. She was in pain and I could feel it.
"I dont wanna talk about it" she responds her voice full of hurt and pain. There was something going on yet she didnt wanna tell me. Why didnt she trust me ?
"Please.. you have been distant I miss you and you know you can trust me.. whatever it is that you're not telling me it wont change how I feel about you" i try my best to reasure her about telling me. I just wish i could take her pain away somehow but that is impossible. She finally turns to me.. her eyes cold and full of tears. Still she looked beautiful and I just wanted to hold her in my arms.
"I dont know how to tell you I cant say it" she says as she starts crying. I quickly get closer and hug her. Holding her closest to me as possible. I could feel my heart beat fast as it broke hearing her cry. I didnt know what she had been through that made her this emotional but I sure as hell wasnt about to judge her or push her into anything.
"Its okay Sel take your time" I tell her slowly stroaking her hair as she cries in my arms. She couldnt seem to stop until she fell a sleep. Slowly I tuck her in bed and kiss her forhead.
"I love you" i whisper before going down stairs to the living room. I felt anxious and heart broken. Whatever she had been through must have been horrible if even she couldnt say it out loud. I just wanted to take the memory of that happening away but I couldnt.. the fact that I couldnt do anything to help was breaking me. As time passed all of a sudden I hear loud noises upstairs where the bedroom is. Unusual loud noises and thumbing... like there were two persons up there.
"JUSTIN HELP" i hear Selena shout my heart stopping as I immediatly jump of the couch. At that moment it felt like time froze and I was moving in slow motion. Even tho I was running I wasnt quick enough. It felt like forever until I reached the bedroom door and when I opened it my heart stopped working and my blood boiled.
