Terabithia 2: The Return of Leslie

Chapter 1: Nightmares

It has been three years since Leslie died. Jess always blamed himself for Leslie's death but had some other thoughts.

Jess is eighteen and one night when he was sleeping he heard the voice of Leslie.

Dream:

Leslie: Jess! Jess! Help me!

Jess: hold on.

Leslie: [ faint yell] Jess!

Jess: NO LESLIE!

Jess woke up. He went to the washroom to wash his face but when he looked himself in the mirror then he saw Leslie but with blood on her fore head and torn up clothes and she said," Why didn't you save me Jess, why didn't you save me!" Jess screamed. May Belle woke Jess. Jess said what happened and May Belle said that you had nightmares.

It was the final exam and Jess didn't get enough sleep. Janice failed to graduate 2 years ago and she is still in 8th grade. Jess and Janice had to stay in after school to finish their exam. Jess wrote a note that said "meet me at the bus stop after school." It was 4:00 pm on the last day of school and Jess and Janice walked home together. Jess told Janice about his nightmares about Leslie. When Jess said Terabithia Janice wanted to know about Terabithia. Jess thought that it was time to show Janice Terabithia.

When Jess introduced Janice to Terabithia she only saw trees and flowers. Janice said," I... don't see it." Jess said to Janice," Just close your eyes, and keep your mind wide open!" When she opened her eyes she saw a golden bridge, a castle with flags, Terabithians, purple flowers, warriors, and a giant Janice. Janice look at Jess with a smile upon her face. Jess wore the crown with pride and yelled," Terabithians let us have a feast for your returning king!" When they all sat on the table Jess honoured Janice at the table. Jess also said," I still believe that our queen Leslie is still alive. But maybe captured!" They all gasp. One Terabithian asked," Captured by who?" " The Darkmaster!" said Jess.

Janice said," What is this Darkmaster?" All of the Terabithians paused. But, while they were talking, above them were the Squogers. The Darkmaster gave them a magic watch that video tapes them. When the Darkmaster moved away to show Leslie, she said," Jess, save me, please!" The Darkmaster's slaves whipped her on the leg with a stream of blood running down her

Chapter 2: Dreams turn to Reality

When Jess was sleeping in his room in his dream he saw Leslie being captured by the Darkmaster and he noticed something. When she was captured she left the bag of blue light behind. He quickly woke up on the first day of summer vacation and ran to the broken rope. He saw the bag, he picked it up, opened the latch, and nothing came out. He was confused. But then he saw a hole at the bottom. He knew that Leslie was still alive. But back at the underworld, the Darkmaster was about to transform Leslie into a demon. Leslie was covered in blood and mud, and the only thing they gave her to eat were bugs. The slaves were dragging Leslie to the doom chamber. Leslie was weak. She can't walk, talk, or even move. She lost a lot of blood that you can see her bones. We'll not literally. As the Darkmaster chained her to the wall. There were bones, mold, blood, and a skeleton hung against the wall. Leslie was terrified.

Tears ran down her cheek in fear as the Darkmaster gets ready to administer a dose of demon blood in her body. Leslie tries to relax but she can't accept the fact that she is about to turn into a demon. Back at Terabithia May Belle and Janice went to check on Jess. As they went into the castle and into Jess's room, they saw him stressed. May Belle asked," why are you stressed?" Jess said to May Belle and Janice," I think my dreams are becoming true." " How do you know?"asked Janice. As Jess explains his dreams to reality, the Darkmaster pushed Leslie's neck against the wall and stabbed the needle hard in her neck. She screams. But nobody can hear her. As they stand back Leslie begins to squirm. She feels the demon blood rushing through her veins. Her skin begins to turn a greyish purple and her eyes are becoming red. Her teeth gets sharp, she grows black wings, her scream gets louder and louder, and her hair turns black, then finally she is a demon
