  "DOC!" Freddy called back.

"HOLD YOUR FIRE! HOLD YOUR FIRE!" Although Tony had no authority over the men, the command was obeyed and they lowered their weapons. The animatronics slowly came out from behind the low wall, some showing multiple wounds from the surprise attack. Bonnie held his hand over his ear where a bullet had taken a small nick out of it. Freddy held his shoulder where fluid trickled down his arm.
"What the hell was that for?!" Chica brushed the brick dust off of her bib. With Foxy it was tough to tell whether he had been shot due to the already existing tears and holes in his fur.

"Guys, I'm so glad you're alive!" Tony beamed.
"Are the children safe?" Freddy asked earger to hear of their return to society.
"Safe and sound with new families." Sensing a tone in Tony's voice indicating that he had left something out, Freddy raised an eyebrow. "...Edward didn't make it. I'm sorry." Upon hearing this, Freddy looked down at the ground making the look of a sad puppy. Tony himself was thinner than when they had last seen each other and had more muscle on him.

The other men were slightly bewildered seeing sentient robot animals as it was certainly not what you would see every day. For a while they stood and staired until one of the animatronics stared back to which they quickly averted their eyes.

The box of oat biscuits Chica had found, four bags of pasta thanks to Bonnie, a few packets of boiled sweets found by Goldie and the alcohol Foxy had started grinning about clearly weren't going to keep all these people fed. Foxy had made the excuse that the bottles of assorted alcoholic drinks could be made into molotovs, but the others knew him far too well and could tell he'd guzzle a few before letting anyone else anywhere near the bottles.

Freddy sighed and looked back at Tony.
"Doc, we have some new friends that we'd like you to meet." The bear lead Tony and the few who dared follow to the house in which the clan they'd been protecting lived.

Calling to Stacey, Freddy brought Tony in from the cold and offered him hot chocolate. He was welcomed into their home with open arms and there was plenty of room for him along with the few men that followed.

As the night progressed, all but one human slept. Tony stared out the kitchen window gazing upon the moonlit streets with a blanket around his shoulders. Then he heard someone approach him. You could tell it was Foxy coming by listening to the clicking his articulated parts made and the scraping of metal feet upon the tiled floor. The uneven limp he possessed also gave it away.
"Are ye needin' a beer or somethin'? Ye've been starin' out tha' thar window longer than a lass in a mirror puttin' those odd powders on 'er face!"
"Thanks, but I don't drink..." Foxy shrugged to this response and took a sip from his own bottle.
"Somethin' troublin' ya?" The pirate asked.
"When will this all be over?" Tony sighed. "I'm tired of running day after day from a fate that will either end in being blown up or eaten at some point."
"Aye, but if we stopped, then we'd be admittin' defeat won' we?" With that, the fox walked off back to guarding the place. Maybe with these words, Tony could sleep for once.
