Chapter Seven

"Breathe for love tomorrow cause there's no hope,for today" -Paramore

"No.I don't"I mumbled.I popped up from bed with people holding my hands.I pushed back from them and punched them in the face.Did the people find me?I ran outside and bumped into someone.They wrapped their arms around me.

"What the hell did you do"I heard a dark voice vibrate from their chest and I knew who it was.

"We tried to get her"

"Then you wake her up nicely not take her by force"Cole said.

"She would have run away"

"Well look where she is now."He said.His hand brushed through my hair

"Don't touch her"He said.His hands touched my cheeks and I felt the rush of heat and the calming of my heart.

"Are you okay"he said moving my head to look at him.My eyes kept bouncing around

"They.."

"It's okay"He said.My heartbeat slowed down.

"Where's Clover?"I said.

"With Elizabeth in Lee's room"

"Where are they taking me."

"To solitary"

"For how long"

"A couple days."

"What about Clover."I asked blinking my eyes.

"She'll be safe"Cole said

"I promised. I'll take care of her"I said

"You can't be with anyone inside solitary"

"Besides me that is"He says.

"How come I can be with him and not Clover"I said looking at the female.She had red hair that resembled fire,and she sure hell did live up to that comparison.I looked at Cole momentarily and saw that he looked hurt.I didn't have any intentions to hurt his feelings.I want to protect Clover and not just have Elizabeth take care of her,she obviously didn't ask for that.The fiery red head looked at me.

"He requested it.I don't like the idea either sunshine but you're going to have to deal with it"she said.Before Cole could restrain me my hand was grasped tightly against her throat.She grabbed my hand tightly

"Don't call me that"I said horrified and offended at the name she called me

'We'll make you feel real good, huh sunshine'

"Let her go"

"We'll make sure she has a good time"

The tears were stacked up in my eyes as my mind rehashed and burned the words into my skull.How can my kind be so cruel and see themselves better that all that is of the sky.They rise themselves on reedy pedestals that they don't even know who they're stacked on.I feel grateful that I have been given the opportunity to see how messed up my species is but it's also a cruse I have been burdened with.Never being able to settle down.I like to think that it's better to walk alone and be free then be together in slavery.Then again I had no one to be with in confinement.I was always alone and if not alone I wanted to be.

"Tecusa!"It was Cole's voice who snapped me out.I looked at him and he reached his hand and released the grasp I had firmly grasped on the red heads neck.I stepped back
