What he did

Nobody had time to think before Luke held up his gun and started shooting. I grabbed Calum and Ashton and dragged them over to the locker room doors. Other people had managed to get in the locker room too. I slammed the doors shut and pushed some benches and a few lockers in front of the door to block it.

"Someone call the police!" Ashton screamed and everyone went searching for their phones. I turned it on only to find out I had no service.

"Open this door!" Luke screamed and I just stood there in shock. Never would I have expected him to do this. But he was bullied so much.. I should have been aware and helped or something.

"Guys I have no service!!" Jake screamed in panic.

"Neither do I." Calum mumbled frustrated.

The door started shaking and shots were going off.

"Guys we have to hide." Jake said. There was 5 of us in the locker room and we all ran and jumped in lockers. The locker room was so huge that we scattered out everywhere.

Me and Ashton managed to fit in a locker together oddly? He was so scared that he told me he didn't wanna be alone. Was it awkward being this close to one of my best friends... yes. But we were scared.

Calum jumped in the locker across from us and I don't know where the other guys went. Few minutes later the door was shot open and Luke pushed everything aside.

Ashton wrapped his arms around my waist and held onto me for dear life. I wrapped my arms around him and held him close. This moment was the scariest moment of my entire life. Me and my best friends had a 85 percent chance of dying right now.

I heard Luke walking around and opening lockers. Ashton started shaking so bad and I just tried keeping calm.

Luke opened a locker..

"Man please don--" he was cut off by a loud gun shot. Few more steps later he opened another locker and a loud gun shot went off again.

Not a few minutes later after he opened more he opened Calums locker..

Calum looked up at the dangerous blonde.

"Please don't do this Luke.. I never bullied you." Calum tried explaining and Luke scoffed and pointed the gun at Calum.

"You never defended me either." Then a loud shot echoed through the locker room. My whole body went into just complete shock. I couldn't move.

Tears poured down my face and Ashton was crying too. Both of us just trying not to break out of the locker and attack Luke.

Luke turned to our locker and he opened the one next to ours.

"Michael I just want to let you know your one of the greatest people I've ever met. I love you so much like a brother." Ashton whispered so low that I almost didn't hear it.

"I love you too Ashton.." I whispered. Luke was about to open our locker when a loud screamed echoed through the gym. He paused and immediately rushed off into that direction.

Both of us just exhaled so loudly as if we were holding our breath the hold time. We couldn't believe what just happened. We sat their just counting our blessings.

I immediately opened the locker and rushed over to Calum who was slowly dying. He was shot in the stomach and blood was everywhere.

"Calum we are gonna get you help okay?" I said trying to reassure him and myself.

"You can't Mikey." Calum breathed out.

"Don't say that Calum. We are gonna get you out of here. You're gonna live." I said and tears rolled down my face.

"Just get out of here. I love you." Then that was it..

My best friend just died in front of me.

but then a few seconds later a gun shot echoed throughout the locker room.
