LOGAN POV
"Is he talking?" I asked, walking towards John. He sighed and shook his head slowly.
"He's just a kid, Logan. He's about 2 years younger than you. At least try to imagine what he has been through." Gabe said, walking towards John and myself.
"Yeah man. You got kind of overboard there." Ty commented, crossing his arms over his shoulder.
"That kid is a rouge. Have you guys forgotten how we treat rouges? It doens't matter what age they are because youngs are more likely going to be used as spies these days." I explained. "For all we know, that kid could be lying to get intel on us."
"You never saw how beat up he was when we stumbled across him." John stated.
"I don't think i've ever seen anyone so damaged." Gabe shook his head while looking down. "He wasn't just physically damaged but mentally too."
"Just exactly how long has he been staying here?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.
"The day after Alpha left." Nicole whispered when no one else answered.
"That was like a week ago! And neither of yous have bothered to notify father or myself?" I growled, snarling vicously.
"We were going to tell Alpha but we thought that he would be stressed about Hazel." John mumbled.
"Dude, you need to calm down." Ty said. "Go take a nap or get some rest. I'll keep him at check and i'll try get something out of him."
"You're pack warrior, man. Don't you feel at least a little pissed about this?" I asked Ty, taking a step towards him. He stared at me as i stared at him. Slowly his eye brows scrunched together before he turned around.
"Go get some rest. I'll handle this." He said before walking away. I stared at his back until it dissapeared through the doors leading to the cells.
"Come on. I'll make you something to eat." Nicole whispered, grabbing my arm. I let her lead me to the kitchen where i sat on the stool while she started preparing a meal.
"I'm going to tell him tonight." I mumbled, looking down at my hands. From the corner of my eyes i could see her pause for a while before continuing her cooking.
"What are you going to tell him?" She asked softly.
"That a you guys found a rouge yesterday and i don't know what to do." I stated.
"You're not going to tell him the truth?" She asked, looking up at me.
"I would but hes got enough stress already." I said, giving her a small smile as i remembered Hazel.
"How is she?"
"She's....doing good. She's coping through this, slowly." I finished just as my phone started to ring. Without looking at the caller i.d, i answered it. "Hello?"
"You could've at least said bye to me." Grace growled. I stood up from my stool fast and excused myself. I made my way through the kitchen and out the back door.
"I'm sorry! I didn't have time and i didn't want to see your dissapointed face." I sighed, taking a seat on the grass. It was dark now and the stars were shining brighter than the moon.
"I'll admit, i was a little dissappointed but your mum explained something about a family curse her and your dad started?" She asked confused. I gave out a light chuckle.
"Mum's just being silly. Don't worry about it."
She laughed, making me smile.
"That's a relief. I still want to go on that date." She whispered.
