Reality defined is nothing more than the state or quality of having a existence or substance.
Reality is something that is physical and right now, Elena wanted nothing more than to fade out of existing. She had been practicing her fake 'I'm fine thank you' smile for the past three miles and as much as she wanted to believe it, her jaw was starting to ache.
"Hey Jer, are you gonna be okay today" she said looking over at her brother "I know we haven't spoke much since..." she trailed off. "Well since that night, and I just want you to know that you've always got me" Jeremy looked over, a woeful smile appearing on his face. " I know" he turned his eyes to the road once again, "I know"
"Jeremy" she never used his name, it always sounded too serious. Like a dog being told off. "I'm serious, I'm always here. Your my family.." "yeah my only family, and do you know why?" Elena looked at him, nervous about what he was about to say "Because you had to be picked up from that stupid party, and if it wasn't for you; mom and dad would still be ALIVE!" Elena looked at him with hurt eyes, "Jeremy where is this coming from?" She breathed " you blame me." "You blame me for our parents death". Jeremy looked at her, before switching off the engine. They had finally arrived. "I don't blame you Elena... I just wish it was you and not them". He gave her one last look and before she had the chance to reply, he was gone. He was right, she should have been the one to die. not them. This was all her fault.
