NOT THE ENDING

In a world where surviving was cruel to its victims, each step the Petrova sisters took was cold. Inviting them into the dark thoughts of losing one another, or the deadly consequences of being caught. Surviving wasn't an option, it was necessary, it was their only duty to stay alive.

The air was always stale, while their blood pumped harshly through their veins constantly. Swear dripped from the foreheads, legs cramping while they fought for their feet to move faster against the rough forest floor. Blood trickled from areas that were widely cut open from their travels of running and falling. The brunettes held each other's hands tightly, to the point of their hands turning purple from the blood flow not making it to their hands. Every so often, one would look to the other, fear almost clouding their vision as voices from the men chasing them became louder.

"The Petrova Bloodline, is a bloodline filled with darkness. I truly admire you—the bravery you have for crossing such a thin line between my sister and I. It may seem lile you came between us, her love for you is clouding her vision of what we truly do—survive. This is only a page in our book, you are apart of a small chapter in our, her, life. You are not the ending of her book. You are only a filler."
