T h r e e

The sounds of pots and pans are what wake the boys as Belle moves around the kitchen, making breakfast. Frank is sitting at the counter, nursing a black coffee and his morning cigarette. Gerard enters the kitchen and kisses Anabelle on the cheek as he swipes a piece of toast from her.

She swats at him and turns the radio down as they begin to talk about the war.

"Good morning, boys." She sets a cup of coffee in front of Mikey as she slumps into the chair, his eyes bleary behind his glasses.

"Your voice is hurting my eyes." He mumbles as Anabelle rolls her eyes, setting a stack of pancakes in front of Ray.

"Don't you mean ears?"

"No." 

Mikey sips at his coffee, trying to reacclimate himself with the world as Ray raves about how good Anabelle's cooking is. She beams, "Frank helped too. He threw the eggs away.

"Way to go, bud," Ray pats him on the back as Frank laughs, swatting his friend away, "I'm glad we'll have someone out there to get rid of our eggshells. The war is as good as won."

The boys laugh and jab at each other as Belle continues to clean the kitchen

~~~Unashamed Time Skip~~~

"Linds!!"

"Belle!!"

The two girl embrace, smiling.

"Kristin, Jamia, and Christa are on their way."

"Great."

They take their stuff and dump it on the crowded beach, talking animatedly. The boys follow, less ecstatic.

A squeal comes from further up the beach.

"Belle!! You look so good!!"

"Jamia!! Kristin and Christa!! You all look great!!"

Once everyone is set up, The girls pull off their dresses, revealing varying bathing suits.

Wolf whistles come from all side as they laugh and run toward the water.

Lindsey and Belle are talking as Kristin, Christa, and Jamia, manage to get the boys in the water.

"So, Linds. You still hardcore crushing on Gee?"

Lindsey laughs as a wave hits her legs.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Not to him. You should go up to him right now and kiss him."

"Belle, I don't think-"

"I dare you."

"Oh, hell No."

Lindsey marches through the water to Gerard, who's staring at her with a mix of awe and shock.

She pulls him toward her and kisses him.

Belle cheers and laughs, as they both turn a bright pink.

A scream comes from her lips as she's tackled into the water. She pushes the arms away and breaks through the surface.

"Frank!! Why did you do that?"

"Because."

He suddenly hugs her tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you so much."

"And I'll miss you Frankie."

He kisses her, tasting like salt water.

Large splashes hit them and they pull apart.

Mikey and Kristin are laughing as they run away.
