-Hermione-
I sat outside the tent, reading in the book Dumbledore had left me in his last will. I still wasn´t sure why he had done it but I was more than sure that it wasn´t because I liked reading. There must be something in it that would help us find the rest of the Horcruxes.
Keep searching.
Quickly I looked over my shoulder to make sure I was alone.
“I was wondering where you went, I missed you”, I said sarcastically to my inner voice.
In fact it had been quiet for several hours and I enjoyed it! I was still wearing the locket so it was kind of unusual to have my mind for myself for such a long time but I couldn´t complain either, it felt just awesome to have a break from all this.
I was pissed.
“What did I do? Please do tell me so I can repeat it and have silence again!”, I begged ironically, holding back a snicker that longed to burst out.
You didn´t do what I said.
“So?”
You better do what I tell you, or I´m gonna make your life hell on earth!
The voice sounded dangerously low and aggressive and I noticed it wasn´t kidding. I gulped silently to swallow my fear. I wasn´t easily afraid but this voice knew too much about me, it could do so many things to me!
Say it.
I shook my head, I knew exactly what it wanted but I wouldn´t give it to it.
Say it!
It screamed and I had to hold my head in pain. Damn this voice was strong! I wouldn´t say it, I was a Gryffindor, I didn´t let anyone treat me like that. A sudden pain shot through my head, making my whimper silently as I tried to keep my voice down. I didn´t want any attention of my friends or Draco.
As you wish, darling.
And again pain shot through my head as though it was cracked open with an ax. A silent shriek escaped my lips as I crumbled at the ground, tears slowly filling my eyes.
“I´m sorry-“, I whimpered, burying my hands in my hair as my head hurt like hell.
That´s better, sweetheart. Now was that so hard?
My voice smirked as the pain slowly faded away, leaving me exhaustedly lying on the ground. What could this voice do to me?!
I would say quite a lot.
It was right. Afraid I sat up, backing away to a tree as though I could escape my voice like an attacker but I knew it was impossible.
“Fuck you Potter!”, I heard a scream, followed by Draco storming out of the tent.
Angrily he kicked away leaves and tramped at the ground, groaning loudly. I caught a few swearwords of his aggressive mumbling as I watched him closely. Furiously he ran his fingers through his platinum blonde hair, making it even messier than it already was. Back at Hogwarts it had always been combed back, making him look clean and ordinary, showing off his wealthy background. Now that he hadn´t got any gel he could use and also the number of showers a day got lower, his hair looked a tiny bit wavy, just naturally and even less than Ron´s. It also looked colorless, kind of dirty at some points. Not unkempt though. It gave him more of a normal, daily look…
“Looking at something!?”, he snapped, bringing me back to reality.
“I was just wondering what made you so angry. Never mind though-“, I stated, acting as uninterested as possible.
