*Eun Sang's POV*
My hand twisted the knob of the door to our apartment, a yawn escaping my mouth as I removed my shoes.

"You're finally home, Eun Sang ah." The voice of Kim Tan's Mother reached my ears

I looked up in surprise to see her in our place.

My own Mother then popped up next to her, 'You're home?' She signed using her hands.

"Eomma. How did you the two of you come in here? Did you know the pass code?"  I asked in slight bewilderment

Mrs Kim let out an awkward chuckle, "About that..." She diverted her eyes away, "Ah! Kim Tan gave us a spare key so we used that instead."

'Mrs Kim stole Kim Tan's key the other day and had it duplicated.' Eomma exposed right after, causing me to giggle slightly.

She and Kim Tan's mother are like kids who always tattle-tale on the other.

"Ahjumma, what did you say?" Mrs Kim looked at Eomma, causing her to scurry back to the kitchen.

I stepped out of the steamy bathroom, drying my hair with a towel.

Eomma and Mrs Kim had left right after making sure I drank the tonic soup Eomma brewed.

A buzz came from my phone on the bedside table.

Remember to take your medication and eat your meals on time, Cha Eun Sang.

My brows came together as I stared at the unfamiliar number.

To: Unknown Number
Who are you?

From: Unknown Number
CYD.

"Who are you texting?"

I jumped from the sudden voice of Kim Tan, clutching onto my heart to catch my breath.

He held a stone expression, looking down at me from his standing position.

"You're back." I breathed out, "Our mothers were here, they brought the tonic soup and made dinner. I'll go reheat them-"

He gripped onto my wrist, stopping me from moving.

"Is it Choi Young Do?" He questioned.

Before I could answer

"Was Young Do at your workplace today?" He asked.

I nodded.

"And you had lunch with him?"

I stared at him blankly, "Yes," I paused, "How did you know?"

His grip on my wrist got tighter, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"You're hurting me, let go!" I twisted my hand, trying to get out of his grip, "Why are you being like this!"

I pulled my wrist out of his hand, staring at him in pure shock.

He pinched the bridge of his nose, shutting his eyes close, taking in huge breaths.

"I just don't like that you're with him." He said.

I moved past him, mumbling under my breath, "I'll go reheat the food."
