*Eun Sang's POV*
Pitch black. That's all I see. Complete darkness.

I tried opening but eyes but they wouldn't listen. My arms were doing the same, remaining limp by my sides. I felt something cool sitting underneath them and others parts of my body.

Realisation hits me when I heard the same beeping of the machine next to me.

I'm in the hospital again.

Voices could be heard approaching me from far, "-terrible if you found her any later, her body was weak enough before but not eating and sleeping have caused her body to collapse. Not to mention the fever she was having, it could've harmed the fetus." A female's voice said.

"Is the baby okay?"

The baby, I gasped in my head, what have I done?

A small sigh was let out, "Nothing alarming was found during the ultrasound. We're still running the tests. In the meantime, we've placed her on drip to replenish the nutrients in both Mother and baby. The baby should be alright as long as we keep her body temperature optimum at the moment."

Relief ran through me when her words reached my ears.

Seconds after what she said, I felt cool packs being replaced around my body. Tiredness took over me, their words becoming mumbles to my ears.

"Will she come round soon-"

That was all I could remember before fully falling back into unconsciousness.

*Few Hours Later*
*Chan Young's POV*
I jogged over with Bo-na over to Young Do who was leaning against the wall, "How is she doing now? Why didn't you call us earlier?"

He brought his tired eyes to us from the ground, "It was 3 in the morning," He gave a me a look. "She just woke up, but still running a fever,"

"What exactly happened?" Bo-na asked, worry painted across her brows.

Young Do rubbed his hands over his face, "She didn't eat for almost three days and barely drank any water while she was still weak. The doctor said it was fortunate that she was brought here immediately, otherwise, it could've been worse."

"Did you inform her family?" I enquired, seeing as we were the only three outside the ward.

He shook his head, "I figured she didn't want her Mother to be worrying over her,"

I turned my head left and right in search of someone, "What about Kim Tan?"

He frowned and clenched his fists, "Don't even mention that jerk." He gritted his teeth.

I raised my brows in question when Bo-na held onto my arm, causing me to look at her.

She shook her head as a sign for me to not question further.

"Can we go in?" Bo-na asked, tilting her head to peek into the private ward.

Young Do only shook his head, "Not yet, the doctor's still in there, " Just as he finished his sentence, the door slid open.

"She've just woken up, we'll need to keep her here for a few days to observe her condition. We've placed her on drip to replenish the nutritions in her body," The doctor paused before speaking again, "Don't give her any pressure or overwhelm her with questions when you go in." She told us, throwing a look at Young Do.

We nodded in understanding, "Yes Doctor, thank you," I bowed my head.

Young Do walked into the ward immediately while Bo-na stopped me from following, "Let him talk to her first, we can go get some food for Eun Sang," She whispered.

I smiled and ruffled her hair, causing her to whine angrily. "Aigoo, our Bo-na has become so sensible already,"

"Yah, are you saying I wasn't sensible before!" She smacked my arm.

I chuckled softly before guiding her towards the elevator.

*Author's POV*
The room was silent except for the machine that was beeping constantly and the exchanges of breaths between the two.

He stood at the end of the bed, leaving the chair next to her empty still.

A sigh would escaped from Young Do every few seconds, figuring what to do as he stared at her.

Her eyes stayed on the opened window, watching the clouds pass.

The silence was finally broken when Young Do opened his mouth, "How are you feeling?"

Eun Sang said nothing but kept facing the window.

"What were you..." He hesitated, "What were you thinking?" He breathed out.

He ruffled his hair roughly, feeling frustrated by Eun Sang. He wanted to know what was going on in her head.

"Were you crazy, Cha Eun Sang?" He raised his voice by an octave.

She remained quiet, choosing to stare out blankly as though nothing happened.

"You could've die, Cha Eun Sang, both you and the baby! What exactly were you thinking?" He asked, anger seeping through his tone. He didn't like that she placed both the foetus and herself at risk. That was not Eun Sang, not one bit would she risk an innocent life at her own sake.

The door slid open, revealing Chan Young and Bo-na with worried expressions. They've heard Young Do's voices just steps away from the ward.

Bo-na frowned, "Yah, why are you raising your voice? We're in a hospital right now,"

Young Do breathed out loudly before walking out of the ward to get some air.

"Aish, that idiot." Bo-na said out loud before turning her attention to Eun Sang, "Are you feeling okay now, Eun Sang ah?" She placed the bag of food she got for the girl on the table.

Chan Young walked over to the side of the bed, leaving the basket of flowers on the bedside table. "Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? Do you want me to call for the doctor?"

Eun Sang merely shut her eyes, not responding at all to Chan Young.

Bo-na pouted at her reaction and looked at Chan Young. He sighed, "We'll let you rest now, Eun Sang ah, we'll visit you again tomorrow, alright?"

He could only sigh once more when she ignored him again. Chan Young hesitated for a moment, before he stood to leave with Bo-na.

"Will she be okay by herself?" She whispered as they walked out.

Chan Young shut the door, "Young Do will be here to look after her,"

"How do you know?" She questioned, she didn't hear anything from Young Do.

He nudged his head to the right where the said person was walking towards them.
