Asad's POV
I am a doctor but I've never seen someone giving birth, like I'm not a gyneacologist
Yes I know women go through a lot of pain but I never thought it was as hell as what I saw earlier
Like damn! Women are strong
I can't even believe I teared up when she was pushing and the worst of it was when he doctor announced the second baby's death! Our son's death!!
I wanted to break down that moment but seeing my wife in more pain,I couldn't,I mean she needed support at that moment
And Alhamdulillah it was a success,she was okay but she needed some space to rest
She was taken to the recovery room right after giving birth
I left her with the rest of the family while I headed to the where the jana'iza was taking place
I was in pain but you know Allah knows best
Laid him deep down and some other men covered him with sand
I didn't tell my mother at moment,I just told her Maryam and the babies are alright
She was surprised when I said "babies" but I didn't let her reply and I ended the call
I texted Baba telling him the good news as well as the sad one
He called immediately telling me it's not the end of the world and more babies are on the way
I chuckled though I was down at the moment
I decided to drive back to the hospital,I stopped to get the new mummy her favourite fruits (pears,strawberries and watermelon) and then I got food for the rest though juwy said her cook is bringing dinner but I thought they would be hungry after hours of waiting

I salamed and entered the room,they all answered in unison and it was then I noticed a different face
"New daddy is back"juwy teased and they all chuckled
"Bani wuri jhoor"I said to her in a playful manner after exchanging pleasantries with Maryam's mother,juwy was sitting beside Maryam
She shot me an "iyyeh" kind of look before went over to the babies and started taking millions of pictures
"Hey"i whispered to her so that no one could here especially that big headed sister of mine and held her hand in mine
"Hey"she replied in the same tone,she was starting to tear and it breaks me
I saw her laughing and gisting with juwy when I came in though she was looking soo tired
I just hugged her and continued making round soothing circles on her back
"It's okay,have faith in Allah, perhaps it's for the best,Allah ya jikan shi da rahama"i managed to say
She didn't say anything,I just felt tears wetting my shirt
"Sshhhh it's okay....And there are more babies on the way yeah?"
She then hit my arm playfully and chuckled
"Ouch that hurts"i whispered
"I love you"she said and hugged me tighter
"I love you more okay!?"I could here her smile and so I broke the hug to actually see it
On breaking the hug I noticed juwy and the other new face I saw looking at us in an awww
Mama Sa'a was playing with Juwy's baby and mama was not in the room, maybe she went out or something
"Mara kunya meh kike kallo"i said to juwy and we all laughed out loud like we got no problems in the world
So I went over to see my princesses
Lord they are soo cute,they've got their Momma's eyes and lips then my nose
Allah is so wonderful I thought
I didn't know how to carry babies much so I just played with them there and took some photos of them and of course their momma though she was all unlooking
I then gave them the food and fed maryam fruits
"Salamu alaikum"i heard Munir's voice with Amjad behind him
We exchanged pleasantries and hand shakes and he went over to maryam
"Hey little man"i picked Amjad up
"Uncle Asad where are the babies,daddy told me I have new little sisters"he asked in his baby voice
"You won't gist with me a little?"
"No I just want to see them"
"Alright here"i faked a sad face and he stucked his tongue out and laughed as if he has defeated me
I just decided to go out and take a little walk when I remembered Mama isn't here yet,so I decided to give her a call
Just before I dialled her number she entered the ward's main door
We exchanged pleasantries and I showed her the room
She was soo excited when she entered,she congratulated maryam,played with Aareef and Amjad, did some small talks with Maryam's mum before moving to the babies
Her face suddenly dropped but I think no one noticed,she then played a little with them and excused herself giving an excuse of having a very important thing to do at home.
I decided to let Ahmad and Usman know about Maryam's delivery so I called Ahmad first
"Hey man"i said as he picked up from the other end
"Don't disturb I'm with bae"he said and I bursted out laughing
"The bae that no one knows abi,well Maryam has given birth to twin girls"
"Wow congratulations mahn,send my regards i'll come see them tomorrow with bae"
"At last i'll get to see this bae, sai ka zo"and I ended the call
I dialled Usman's Number and it wasn't going through so I sent him a message
It was soon time for maghrib so I went to a nearby mosque and prayed
I prayed for my dead son Ya Allah
It's heartbreaking
Juwy's cook brought dinner and they left
I must say it was the longest yet memorable day of my 28yrs of life
