Katelyn's P.O.V

We had been in the air for at least an hour and 15 minutes. I was just on my computer listening to some songs I had downloaded before I left. It was One Direction's new album, Midnight Memories.

It was a really good album. Their songs have matured so much, but I still love their old songs too.

I decided I was going to get some sleep. I was exhausted from all this running around.

I unplugged my earphones from my laptop and set it down underneath my seat. I checked the time on my phone.

The time read 5:30 am, my eyes started welling up with tears. I knew this was the time my mom got up for work. That knot that had faded in my stomach, quickly came back.

I wiped away my tears with the edge of my blanket that I had brought along. I was use to wiping and hiding my tears from everyone.

I shook the thought away. I could be strong. I had to do this.

I closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.

Mom's P.O.V

I got out of bed and went to get the kids up for school.

I walked to Kameron's room.

"Come on baby, it's time to get up," I said loudly through his room.

He started moving around in his bed, and I knew he would be up soon.

I made my way to Kaylea's room, but I looked in and she was already up.

"Well someone is up early this morning," I smiled through the doorway.

"Yup, have to impress," she laughed back.

I walked to Katelyn's room. The door was shut. She never had her door shut when she was sleeping.

I opened the door. Katelyn wasn't in there. I walked further in her room. Everything she owned was gone. Her clothes, pictures, makeup.

I screamed at the top of my lungs for James to get in here.

He came running into the room, "What's wrong? Why are you screaming?"

"Can't you see, our daughter is gone. All of her stuff is gone," I said tears brimming in my eyes.

I slid down the wall and broke down. How could she just have left. Maybe I was overreacting. She could have went to a friends house.

I stalked into the kitchen with the rest of the kids and James following right behind me.

I grabbed a glass from the cabinet and started filling it with water, trying to ease my pounding head and shaking body. I turned around to face my confused family.

Something caught my eye. A note.

I grabbed the piece of paper that had been torn from a spare notebook. I read the note out loud and passed it around for everyone to read their separate one. I had to read Kameron's to him since he was in first grade and just now learning to read.

My daughter had left with no information of where she was, who she was with, and if she would be safe.

Kaylea's P.O.V

I cannot believe my sister would just leave me. Why would she leave me? I thought we were close. She should have told me.

Mom got us ready and sent Kameron and I off to school. This was going to be a bad day.

I was woke up to a screeching sound of wheels, which I'm guessing was the plane landing.
