Catching Feelings

Katelyn's P.O.V

I fluttered my eyes open and sat up in bed. I checked my phone to see that it was 10:30 am. I jumped up remembering the plans I had with Niall today. I ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower and brush my teeth.

I dried myself off after the shower and applied some light makeup. I was wearing a little powder foundation on my face. My eyes had a neutral look on them. It looked natural, which was what I liked.

I walked over to my closet and pulled the doors open, being a little over dramatic. I slipped into my white skinny jeans. I was having a little trouble finding a cute top, so I ran into Mia's room and jumped on her bed in just my bra. What? I felt that comfortable around her.

"Mia, get up and help me find a cute top for my lunch with Niall!" I said in a singing voice.

She shot up, "Wait, you already have plans with him?" She was smiling at me from ear to ear.

"Yes, we are heading out to Nandos for lunch," I said back excitedly.

I had never been to Nandos, but I did know it was Niall's favorite restaurant.

She got up and dragged me by the arm back to my closet.

"Hmmm," she said think out loud.

"I think this one," she said while pulling out a mint green long sleeve shirt. It had a cute little white lacey collar as well.

I held it up to me. Yes this was cute but simple, I liked it.

I thanked her, and she left to go watch t.v.

I slipped on a pair of mint green flats with a little white bow at the top. I grabbed my purse and headed to the door. I stopped and turned around back to Mia.

"Do you mind if I borrow your car," I asked her smiling.

"Course hunni, the keys are by the door on the little table," she said pointing out the table in the corner.

I gave her a smile and waved.

I heard her shout before I shut the door, "Use protection."

I laughed loud enough so she could hear me. That was seriously funny.

Mia's P.O.V

I watched Katelyn as she left. I was actually happy for her, but I still felt a little something in my heart. It's like I was jealous of her. Why though? She was in all honesty, by best friend. I guess it's because I had a little thing for Niall before she told me how much she liked him.

I got up from the couch and decided to cook me something for lunch. I decided to just order takeout.

Katelyn's P.O.V

I was almost to Nandos, with about 10 minutes to spare. I was so thankful that Mia showed me where Nandos was on the way to her flat the other day.

I pulled into Nandos parking lot and decided to go ahead and walk in. I wasn't about to wait out here in the car in the freezing cold. I pulled open the glass door and made my way to the little counter.

"Hello Miss can I help you?" asked a short brunette girl about my age.

"Um, actually yes. I was suppose to be meeting someone here," I smiled back at her.

She looked back towards a table and pointed to it.

"Him?" she asked with a confident look on her face.

I blushed and nodded. I walked my way towards the back of the restaurant. I sat down across from Niall. I'm guessing he didn't notice my presence because his eyes were still glued to the little menu.
