Kalima's POV
When did you come? I asked her surprised.
Someone was missing me badly! So, I came to give her a surprise. Ummayyah winked.
Rayees came and called Hameed, "He said to Hameed that Nanu and Nani wanted to meet him.
Yeah! I want you to meet my Nanu and Nani too!! Ummayyah said
Why did Ummayyah's Nanu and Nani wanted to meet Hameed??? I thought
Hay! Nanu this is my new friend, Ummayyah said to her Nanu with a wink!
Ummayyah's Nanu and Nani was so sweet, but Ummayyah din't allow me to talk to them. She pulled me to her room and gave me a box.
What's this? I asked
Something which will always remind you of me, she replied
Aunt Mubeen came to room and asked,
"Ummayyah not going to college"??
Mom exam is postponded! She said
What exam? I asked
Ummayyah gave me a pleading look and then I understood! " Yeah Aunty exam is postponded, I said and then Aunt Mubeen left".
Such a crazy girl you are! I smiled
Just open it!! She giggled...
I opened the box and I saw a beautiful windchime. It was so cute with little star's hanging on!!
I love it, I mumbled..
I know, she replied
Later, we both went downstairs. Ummayyah's Nanu looked at Hameed and said, "Mashallah, He is perfect for Ummayyah and Kalima is also perfect for Rayees"
Marriage??? What??? Mom, Dad, Rayees?? So, this is what you guys are hiding?? Ummayyah said surprised.. Ummayyah its not what you think Aunt Mubeen said but kalima just walked away.
I was shocked too and, I followed Ummayyah.
Ummayyah was sitting in the garden and I sat next to her. We both were upset. How can our parents hide such a big decision to us???
Ummayyah's POV
Kalima was upset tooo. But she never complained about anything!!!
Kalima are you not angry with your parents decision?? I asked her
She turned to me and said, "Ummayyah nothing goes according to what we plan and it's all Allah's plan" Just trust him. His plans are always best for us. She said
I nodded!
Listen Ummayyah!! "Our parents knows what's best for us, and they will never take wrong decisions" she smiled..
I agreed with Kalima. Her words just comforted me!!
My family came up and was worriedly looking at us.
