Chapter 1

 *Eponine's POV*

Yesterday was just one of those normal days. I woke up early, got ready, caught the bus, got into school five minutes early, endure another day of school, go to the Cafe Musian, have Combeferre keep me there another two hours to finish something that we could have finished earlier and finally I go home. My routine had never been different and I thought it never would be different. I thought that until today. Today defiantly did not have today’s routine...

This morning, I had English class first with Miss Penderwall. Brilliant. A detention from old Penderwall is exactly what I need today. When I walked into English class, I sat in between Marius and Grantaire, as usual. As normal, I would have a chat with Marius and Grantaire, Marius would go on about Cosette and Grantaire would go on about Enjolras, but today  Grantaire had something very important to tell me.

 "Hey Ep." He said.

 "What's up R?" I replied.

 "I've got something good to tell you..."

"If it’s something about Enjolras, trust me, you've said it all already!"

"No, no it's not about Enjy..."

"Really? I think I might faint..."

"Well, if you're gonna be like that, I won't tell you..."

"No, R, please tell me."

"I've got tickets to see One Direction!"

 "Really? No way!"

 "Yeah. Backstage passes as well."

 "Oh my god! You are amazing Grantaire! Is everyone going?"

 "Yep."

"Even Enjy?"

"Of course."

 "I am so excited to see their faces at the Cafe Musian. Especially Enjolras. Oh yeah, um, Combeferre too."

 "Why him?"

 "'Cause he told me while we were studying that he didn't like bubblegum pop and One Direction's music is bubblegum pop."

 "Oh yeah. When you 'study'."

 "Hey! We do study thank you very much!"

 "All right Ep! Chill!"

"I am chill R and..."

"Eponine Thenardier! Would you like me to stop my class just so you can carry on your conversation with Grantaire?!"

Miss Penderwall shouted at me as I hadn't noticed class had started. Great! Exactly what I wanted today!

"No Miss..."

"See me after class!"

"Thanks R."I mouthed over to Grantaire.

At the end of the lesson, I attempted to dart out of class. But, lovely Miss Penderwall kept me back during break plus an extra five minutes. This meant I had to run across the building to get to geography class, where my geography teacher, Mr Clarkson, looked extremely pissed off and ready to give at least a two hour detention today. Of course, I got the regular crap, you know the 'why are you late?', 'that's not an excuse!' and 'detention miss Thenardier!' shit. Yippee! In geography, I sit next to Cosette. Apart from myself, Cosette was the biggest One Direction fan I know. I wanted to tell her about the tickets that Grantaire got, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise for her. So, I stayed quiet for the whole of the lesson...Which she thought was extremely suspicious.

We got to the Cafe Musain straight after school, (my detention with Mr Clarkson was tomorrow), where Grantaire was going to tell everyone that we were going to see One Direction together. I am so excited to see everyone's reactions. I think Grantaire's going to tell everyone when they're all drunk. I have to keep my eye on Marius. He heard the conversation that I shared with Grantaire. Gotta make sure he doesn't tell Cosette. I bet going to...Fucking party pooper.
