Hope's POV (In womens bathroom)

"Hello?" Eleanor's voice called for me. I sniffed. "C'mon Hope." She walked in front of my stall. I was sitting on the toilet with my knees up to my chest and my arms hugged around them.

"Will you talk to me?" She asked me very concerned. I unlocked the door. She got next to me and stroked my hair.

"We're missing you out there. Could you tell me what's wrong? I can't help unless you talk."

"Didn't the boys tell you?" I wiped a few tears away with the back of my wrist.

"A quick skim over. Now I've never lost any really close loved ones like you did so I can't relate all that well. But I can try."

"I just need time." I said with a light choke because the lump swelling in my throat and the heavy flow of tears. "I feel like I'm making a big scene and all this drama and trouble I'm making for you guys..."

"No no, not at all. Almost everyone out there has lost someone or something they loved. That even goes for Louis and Liam. Louis and Harry for their parents divorce. Perrie misses her family all the time. Sophia's best friend. My grandmother. You're not alone. And don't you ever think you are because we are all here." She squatted next to me and brushed a few loose hairs away from my eyes.

"Thanks." A tiny smile tugged at my lips to know I wasn't alone. She grinned as if she was proud with her progress in helping me cheer up.

"You coming out then?" She asked awkwardly and stood up.

"Yea. But only after my eyes aren't so red." I stood up and hugged her. She hugged back. We made our way to the sink where I could splash warm water on my face and dry it all off with a paper towel.

"Look who's here!" I heard a strange voice with a heavy accent. I turned and saw Perrie. I grabbed a towel and wiped the drops of water off my face.

"Feeling better?" She asked and took the paper towel in her hand and wiped off the water for me.

"Yea. Thanks guys this means a lot." They, as perfect strangers, cared about me. And that must count for something.

"The absolute least we could do for ya'." Perry said, finished ridding my face of water and gave me an ecstatic smile.

"I'm also sorry for making such a big sce..."

"Don't apologize. We all have hurt hidden in our heart and it comes out at the worst times but through every hurt comes something great and bright that will make you forget your hurt. I know because everything that ever went bad always turned into something good." Was Perry's monologue at me. I nodded and threw the towel into the garbage. "It could even be a new man." She was very outgoing and optimistic.

"Look who's back to join us?" Niall cheered when the three of us returned to our meal at the table. Everyone looked up, smiled and each said something encouraging. A ton of strangers taking my thoughts of dismay away with gay words full of love.

Emmie and Harry got up to greet me. I ended up being wedged between them at the table. Emmie was constantly drinking my chocolate milk and sharing thoughts on what it would be like to live in Wisconsin, America. I was told they have a big variety of chesse's there, I'm sure I would like to go there and see if it's as good as it sounds.

Harry however being an acquaintance asked me about my taste in music and whether I've heard the music he performs. Emmie told him how she was a fan and his face lit up.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yea."She said and took a sip of her milk.

"Got a twitter?"

"Of course."

"What's your account?" He took out his ringer and turned it on.

"Umm.......narryshines." It was hers. He obviously looked it up, went to her profile.

"This it?" He wondered and showed her his screen. She was red in the face. Then she bobbed her head to show him it was her account. Then he pressed something and showed it to her. It said: "Following". She smiled.

"Thanks a lot Harry."

"Alright Hope, what's yours?"

"Just HopeRalston." I replied. He did the same to me. Once our meal was over we threw away our trash and continued to skate. Emmie talked a lot to Niall. Louis, Harry, Zayn, Perrie and I did a lot of talking.

Perrie and I went against Zayn and Harry in tag. Childish but even us as adults, had loads of fun. We fell down and bumped into other often, but soon enough we had everyone racing around. Then when both me and Sophia were avoiding Perry in which she was the tagger, we clashed into each other. We fell on our faces. It was a full on frontal crash. Both our heads hurt. But it was all forgiven and moved on with a laugh and words of penitance.

We ended up staying until 6:00. Emmie and I were the first to leave. Harry and I exchanged phone and texting numbers. I gave everyone a hug and made sure Louis's, Eleanor's, Harry's and Perry's longer because of their sympathy. Emmie wanted to cry as we left but was reassured after I told her I got Harry's number. We left and what was waiting for me when I got home wasn't.... happy.

--------------------------

"Hope Rose Ralston where on earth were you?" My mum came around the kitchen corner once the front door shut and my bag hit the floor.

"I was skating. I texted you where I would be." I said kind of confused. Then my stepdad came in behind her and grabbed my fore arms,

"Why didn't you tell us where you were?" He asked with a red, furious face.

"I did. The text and just as I left, I said."

"Dear this isn't necessary. This was a misunderstanding." Mum said and set her gentle palm on his shoulder. He released me from his grasp.

"Sorry Hope." He said. "I didn't know."

"That's ok. Did I miss dinner?"

"No. We're having pizza..."

"That's ok. I had some at the rink. I'm not that hungry anyway." I said briskly, grabbed my bag and went up to my room.

A.N. I know it's boring and it's looking like a Harry fanfic but from here on it'll be more interesting I promise! Don't give up on it yet!

Thank you also for reading. It means a lot!
