"How was the lecture today Luce?" Levy asked me handing me a Coca.

"It was good, well as far as good goes in a college lecture on literature."

"Tell me about it, My professor is super strict and probably wants to see the world burn!" She chuckled. "I turned in my term paper two minutes late, because my printer was acting up and they wouldn't even take it! It wasn't until Gajeel went and told them off, then they finally took it. I have no idea what Gajeel did but everytime I walk in for a lecture they look terrified."

"Oh my gosh!" I respond with a laugh, She chuckled. I looked down at her hand, and caught a glimpse at her engagement ring.

"So how are things with Gajeel? Is he giving you any trouble?" I ask with a wink.

"No, although he will never admit it in but, he is a real softie on the inside, and he is a gentleman." She says with a hint of blush on her cheeks.

"Sounds like you've found someone really special." I say with a smile.

"I Know, I can't wait until the snow clears, that's when the wedding will be! You are gonna be my Maid of honor right?"

"Of course! My beast friend in the whole wide world is getting married! I wouldn't pass up that chance for a million dollars!"

"Thank you Lucy! So how about you?"

"Huh?"

"When are you going to ever find a guy that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?"

"She asks nudging me on the shoulder"

"Ugh, you're so annoying" I say with a laugh. "I just don't know yet, I never really thought about it to be honest, I guess it would be nice to find someone but It's not like i'd be any good at flirting or anything."

"Well any guy that would pass you up has something wrong with them, I mean you're cute, funny and you're hella smart."

"Really? I just don't think I'm ready for a relationship right now. Maybe in a couple years-"

"Lucy! You're not getting any younger! What are you waiting for? Go out there and find someone, you know, love doesn't have a schedule, It comes and goes whenever it wants."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You'll know what I mean whenever you find someone, but for now I gotta go, the last train will be leaving soon and I don't want Gajeel worrying about me."

"Bye Lev, You know you should really come by and visit more, I feel like I hardly see you anymore."

"Yeah, well if you get accepted into my college than we could totally chat more."

"They havent sent back my acceptance letter yet Lev"

"Yet, Luce- they will accept you I know it! You're one of the best journalist I know!"

"Thank you, now you'd better hurry or else you might miss the train."

"Bye Lucy" She gave me a hug and she left the cafe, leaving some money on the table for her Coca.

"Bye Lev-" I said quietly. I honestly would miss her alot, she lives across the state, I only see her on days where she comes to visit her family, which is rare, due to the fact that She is constantly busy, with college and such.

It's honestly so amazing that she is so young and she is already engaged. But I know that they didn't want to wait any longer and they will be getting married in the new year. I have only had a couple boyfriends in my life, and they were less than desireable. I honestly don't know what I was thinking. But at the time I was a sophomore in high school, of course I wanted to date at the time.

I finished my Coca and left my money on the table neatly next to Levy's, and I went back to my dorm.

I studied for a while until I realized it was really late and I was tired. So I laid down in my bed and looked up at my ceiling above.

"Well any guy that would pass you up has something wrong with them, I mean you're cute, funny and you're hella smart."

That's nice to think, but I don't think that i'm as perfect as she claims I am.

My eyes start to flutter close as I drift off to sleep.

My phone wakes me up in the morning I look over at it and I got a text from Mira.

It reads:

M: Hey Lucy, wanna come over this friday for my annual Christmas party ? It'll be fun! We r gonna put booze in the eggnog, by Cana's request."

I Chuckle at the text, hell yeah spiked eggnog.

L: Um, of course! I'd love to go!

M: Yay! This year i'm going all out! And there will be ton of hot guys there ;)

L: ¯\_ಠ_ಠ_/¯

M: Ha ha, just make sure to show up in something christmas-y

L: Yay now I have an opportunity to wear that cute sweater Levy gave me! See you then!

M: See you then.

I put down my phone, and looked at the time I still had an hour before my next lecture, I could stay in bed, just... a bit... longer.
