It's been about a week since Lucy has forgotten about me. I was released from the hospital and so was she, they say that to get her memory back she will have to be surrounded by her natural surroundings.
She has remembered all her friends and even Gray, the only thing she has forgotten is me.
I have stopped dropping by her dorm, she would just direct me away, I think she doesn't want to remember me.
Maybe she's become someone completely different, and my Lucy died with the crash. I feel a sob bubble in my throats and tears fall down my face. My chest burns, god I should just leave here, and go back to Sabertooth, the familiar surroundings and people will take my mind off all of this, I might as well forget about her, like she did to me.
I started packing my things when Gray stopped by.
"Hey, where are you going?" He asked when he noticed my luggage.
"Back to Sabertooth," I sighed.
"And you're just gonna leave Lucy?"
"Well I mean she has totally forgotten me so what's the point anyways."
"The point is that she is your girlfriend dammit! Some guys would love to have her and you do!"
"Gray you're not saying-?"
"No I don't have the hots for your girlfriend, I like someone else. But I do know guys who do like her and they know she is taken so they aren't gonna go for her!"
"She has forgotten about me Gray!"
"And if they figure out you're not together anymore they will go for her!"
"So what?"
"What?"
"Maybe that's best, she obviously doesn't want to remember me anymore, she probably wants someone else, she probably saw me that first time and thought 'Ew who's that guy'" I mimicked a girl tone "And when she figured out that I'm her boyfriend, she probably thought 'Ugh, I don't want him, I'm glad my memories of this loser are gone'" I felt tears fall down my face "She should go on with her life, and I should do the same." I picked up my bags and turned away from Gray. "Goodbye Gray, if she ever remembers me, tell her that I've moved on." I walked out leaving Gray there.
I got into my car, and started it, I am on my way back to Sabertooth.
It took me a couple hours to get back to the campus but when I arrived at my old dorm I saw some familiar faces.
"Hey Sting, Rogue!" I said as I exited my car.
"Hey Natsu!" Sting instantly stood up "I thought you had transferred to Fairy Academy."
"Well something happened." I looked at my feet at the thought of Lucy.
"It's a girl." Rogue said.
"What?" I looked up instantly at them.
"Knew it." He chuckled
"Oh none other than the fighting champion our Etherious Natsu Dragneel has fallen for Someone and you would think that someone as badass as himself would not be a pussy and do something about this problem of his." Sting teased.
"I'm not a pussy. I left for good reason." I pout.
"And what is this so called good reason?" Rogue asked.
"Me and this girl got into a car accident, now she's developed amnesia and she doesn't remember me."
"So I'm guessing you had feelings for this girl? Yes or no?" Sting asked
"Yeah"
"Then go back to her!"
"Don't you think I've tried that!" I sighed "She doesn't remember me at all and she doesn't want to talk to me either."
"I still think that you're just trying to take the pussy way out of this."
"Fuck off, I came back here to get my mind off of things." I say back coldly
"Well you're a good fighter, why don't you try a few rounds against sting?" Rogue suggested
"Yeah, it's been awhile since we've dukes things out." Sting joined in.
"Okay, but don't cry when I whipe the floor with you." I smirk. Piece of cake.
Rogue, Sting and I made our way to the arena, other guys and some girls were training there and I saw Some guys battling it out in the ring.
Sting and I would have to wait to fight, but that's fine because I can start getting ready. I looked down at my attire, it's not exactly fighting appropriate, so I should probably change.
I went into the bathroom and took off my shirt and changed into some gym pants, seems fine to me.
I came back out of the bathroom too see Sting ready to fight.
I stepped into the ring with him and prepared to fight.
He raised his fists in front of his face and got into fighting position, I did the same but I swung with my right arm and aimed for his face, he blocked with his left and grabbed my arm, I blocked my face with my other arm and he kneed me in my stomach. My eyes lit up with rage.
I felt pain and I wanted to sit down but giving up won't make you stronger. While I was hunched over I jumped at his torso and pushed him up against the edge of the ring.
I threw him over my shoulder then threw him to the ground, he groaned in pain but he kicked my legs making me fall over as well.
Well played.
I stood up as well as himself and he tried punching me straight in the face but I grabbed his fist and pushed it away from me.
He ran into the edge of the ring and almost fell over the edge.
He kicked my side where the stitches were and I had to bite my tongue to keep from yelling out in pain but now I'm really mad. I punch in in the jaw when he didn't expect it and sent him backwards and he fell out of the ring.
I won.
"Well, I thought that a girl would've made you soft, but you're still a badass Natsu Dragneel." Rogue walked up clapping.
"Natsu! Natsu!" I heard a voice from behind me. I turned around to see Levy Lucy's friend, the thought of Lucy made my heart jump.
"Who's this you're girlfriend" sting asked when he walked over rubbing his jaw.
"No, this is her friend"
"Natsu can I talk to you, alone." She asked clearly freaked out by them.
"Yeah, said slipping on a tank top."
We walked outside of the gym.
"So what did you want to talk ab-" before I could finish, Levy had slapped my face. I grabbed my face in pain.
"What was that for?!" I almost yelled.
"How could you leave Lucy behind?"she cried out.
"I wanted her to move on from me okay."
"No I know that she will remember you, but she can't if she's not around you Natsu!" She is so much shorter than me but she seems so intimidating.
"Go back to her and make her remember!"
