"Now if you need us to pick you up early just call us, we'll be right there." Cana says reassuringly.

"Guys i'm not a kid."

"Well if he tries anything funny, we are here." Juvia adds

"Oh my god you guys."

I hear a knock at my door, Juvia and Cana check to see if I look okay. Then they hide in my room.

I shake my head and open up my door to see Natsu standing there. He is wearing a big black coat with a white scarf, with black lines on it. He is wearing red fingerless gloves and boots.

"Hey Lucy, you look really nice." He smiles at me.

"You don't look bad yourself," I smile back at him, I step out into the hallway and close the door behind me. He leads me to his car, this time in not drunk so I can actually see strait.

He opens the door for me, like a gentleman, and then he gets in the car himself and we head off to the Ice rink.

The way over we didn't talk about that much, it felt kind of awkward, he did tell me about his brother, and his brother's girlfriend and how she's a cancer patient.

Once we arrived and got our skates on, it was hard to watch Natsu walk.

It was like watching a giraffe walk for the first time.

The cold bites at my face and my hands feel cold, I should've worn gloves like Natsu.

We step out onto the rink, I skate with ease, while Natsu on the other hand is trying his best just to stay upright.

"How are you doing that?" He asks.

"Doing what?" I reply with a chuckle, He looks so cute when he is frustrated.

"You know, standing!" He falls over on his backside. I laugh, his face reddened with embarrassment and I walk over and offer my hand to him. "It should be me helping you, not the other way around" he says with a pouty face. I laugh and he takes my hand, his hands are so warm, way warmer than my cold ones. I boost him up and when he stands up his face is only inches from mine. I'm scared to back away, I kind of like the warmth his body gives off.

"Sorry," he says backing away, but he almost falls over again. I have to hold onto his arm just so he wouldn't fall over.

"I think it's best if you let me help you." I laugh.

"Right." he says as he intertwines his hand with mine.

I lead us around the rink, we talk about the most random things as we glide around letting the cold wind spin us around.

"So if you wanted to be a part of the military, then why did you leave Sabertooth?" I ask out of nowhere.

"Well," He sighs, and continues "I didn't want to just be so dead set on something that it made me block out all the other things life has to offer, because who knows, I could die in the military, I want to experience life before the Military, you know." We stood still for a moment, he looked so nice in the lighting, and with the winter wind blowing his hair. "What about you Lucy? Do you have a aspiration that you wanna follow?"

"I want to be a Journalist," I say back, It feels so insignificant compared to his large aspiration.

"If you do, then don't forget what you want to do, but that doesn't mean that you have to stay completely on course for it. It's always fun to take a different path every once in awhile." He pauses for a moment and he looks to me, his eyes practically shining with the reflections of the moon. "Now c'mon It's cold, let's go inside and get some Cocoa!" He says pointing to the building.
