chapter 4

i opened the door to find a cold looking Nash in blue jeans and a button up shirt. he looked hot.

"ready to go?" he asked

"yea hold on i have to tell my dad im leaving you can come in for a minute." i walk to the other room to tell my dad im leaving but of course he wants to meet Nash.

"hello sir." Nash shook hands with my father

"were you taking my daughter tonight?" my dad asked not even saying hi or anything

"out to dinner, then a movie. sir." i wonder where we are eating but thats not the point right now

"bye dad." i say and grab Nashs hand to leave and start walking out the door. nashs car or truck i should say looks really new its black no scarches or dents.

* on the date

we headed to the restaurant and it was Olive Garden my favorite restaurant. also my sister works here. I wonder if she is working tonight. I guess we will find out. we got our parking spot and Nash got out and opened my door for me. very gentlemen like.

"a table for two please." Nash said

"hey Caleb is my sister working tonight?" I asked the host

"yea do you want in her section?" he asked Nash gave me a weird look.

"yes please!" I said and Caleb guided us to my sisters section. we got a booth for the two of us.

"so you know people here then?" Nash asked

"yea my sister works here Alex, I know most of the workers here."

"oh I didn't know that." I really don't tell people that much about my home life I like to keep that stuff to my self.

just then my sister walked over and handed us our menus

"hey Bay I didn't know you were coming here tonight." she said

"nether did I Nash brought me." nash smiled and said hi to my sister

"ok so drinks Bay you want a tea with lemon and what can I get you sir?" it weird seeing my sister be nice all the time when she's at work she has to be nice but if we were at home the word sir would never come out of her mouth.

"um ill have a coke please."

"sure thing ill be right back with your drinks." just then she left to go get our drinks leaving us.

he looks so cute to night! I cant believe im here with him.

"you look very pretty tonight Bay." he said. I could help but blush how can he have such an effect on me already.

"thanks you don't look to bad your self." I say back and he smiles

"ok here are your drinks." and she sits down right by me. I give her a puzzled look.

"umm whatcha doing Alex?" I ask she usually does this when its just me and my dad and she has no other tables but im on a date!

"oh your my only table and the only other people in here. besides the workers. oh by the way everyone says that your boy toy is very handsome!" oh my gosh she is so embarrassing. Nash laughs and says to tell them thank you. just then Caleb the host aka (my sisters best friend) sits a couple right next to our booth. kiersten had to get up and see if they needed anything.

"hey Bay" I heard and it wasn't Nash who was it I knew that voice I looked up and then it hit me. it was Ashton. he was the person who sat by us. how did he know I was here and who was the girl with him?

"hi Ashton what are you doing here?" I asked

"on a date with Caitlyn!" was he trying to make me jealous? cause its not working at least I don't think it is ah what are you saying your here with Nash focus on him not Ashton.

"so Bay there's a party after the football game on Friday do you wanna come with me?" Nash asked. a popular party that's not really my thing but it is nashes so I guess I could try.

"sure sounds fun!" just then Ashton laughs I glare at him I knew he was lauging at me he knows that I don't like those kinda partys.

"weres it at?" I ask

"my house you know my brother being the most popular guy at school and all my parents are going to be gone so I guess that means party!" I get to go to his house! a actual party. whats next?

"sounds cool." I say Ashton laughs again but this time it mad me mad more mad then last time

"ashton can I talk to you please!" I say very calmly.

"sure were at?" he asked

"in the back come on. ill be right back Nash."

me and ashton head to the back going through the kitchen to the back room. I know my way around this place I worked here over the summer for some money.

"what do you think your doing?" I yell at him but he still just smiles at me

"well im guessing that this guy your out with is some popular guy thinks he is some hot shit. a party really Bay that's not your thing I know that!" he says back he has no right to talk about Nash like that and he doesn't know what I like and don't like well he does know I don't like party's cause I told him but still.

"they could be my thing. and I really like Nash but your ruining the night! I don't care what his social statues at school is he is different with me!"

"guys cant change Bea!"

" I don't want him to change!" I say back cause its true I don't want him to change he is a fun person I mean it would be better if all the girls at school didn't like him but I just have to deal with that.

"I don't want him to change you Bay! and if you go to that party your changing to someone who you despise. I just want you to stay your self the person who I like!" did he just say he likes some. he probably meant like a friend. yea. a friend.

"im not going to change. and obvisley you haven't is that your 5th date this week or this day?" I say trying to get him back for saying those things about Nash.

"acutely I just asked her here to make sure you were ok. I like you ok I like you more then a friend I think I even love you Bay!" he said

"n. no you cant Ashton you even said so at the football game remember we can only be friends. you said so. and I cant go out with someone who goes out with a bunch of girls you said so your self guys cant change!" and with that I left the room and went back to Nash leaving Ashton in the back room by himself I felt like I wanted to burst into tears but I couldn't I had to be strong and put a smile on my face for Nash.

"ok were. were we!" I say sitting back down.
