Chapter 3

Michelle Paul's Point Of View

When I woke up, I was happy to find Ace hugging me. I remained still, the dogs were on bed, sleeping peacefully. I like it, to be awake like that. Ace hugging me, the dogs sleeping in our bed, it feel nice. 

I checked the time, 6:30 am. I decided its time for me to wake up. I removed Ace from me, it break my heart to leave him alone but the dogs are with him, so its fine. I made my way to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I went to the kitchen and took my laptop and started searching for a good location to shift. I still remember that we need to move from here, to a place good for Ace. I don't want him when he need to shift, he is being attacked by hunters. 

After some time searching, I realized that it was already time to prepare breakfast, they will wake up in some minutes. I prepare milk for both Ace and the dogs, today I feel like I want to give them milk. Evil mother in action, not so evil actually. Milk is good for teeth and make bones stronger. I prepare tea for me, what can I do, I love tea. Some bread and butter, for the dogs I will cook some meat to give them, they need something strong to start the day. 

When I was done cooking, I saw them coming. Ace was in between Hugo and Jim, he was rubbing his eyes. Cute. He was walking and the dogs were just in front of him, like protection him from anyone. So sweet. They came to the dinning table and sat.

I said," Good morning, Ace, Hugo and Jim."

Ace said," Good morning" and the dogs didn't say anything, they just were looking at their food. They start eating their meat. I knew they would like that.

Ace was going to drink, I stopped him and said," Teeth."

He looked down and said," Yes," he went to brush them. I decided to wait for him. In the time, I continue to look in my laptop. I think I found a village according to my conditions. Surrounded by a huge forest, an okay house with a yard and the village name is Blackmoon. Weird for a name but I think its alright. I should try calling the person who is selling the house. I think we can get a good deal. Moreover, the house is not that costly, it should go just fine. As I'm giving up on my job, I should find something else to do as an occupation. Lets search what Blackmoon has to offer. I found an old cafe shop. Seem okay, I can manage that. Luckily, it was cheap as hell. Good for me.

Ace came and sat beside me and was looking in my laptop. I said," Lets eat."

He smiled happily with me and agreed in doing so. 

After eating, he went to watch the television. I went to clean up. Then, I went to sit and search again through the laptop in the aim to find more information. I found the number of the seller and his name. It was Anthony Johnson. Nice name. I decided to take a shower then contact him, to boost confident. Hahaha funny.

I said to Ace that I'm going to take a shower and when I will be done, it will be him turn. He just nodded and turn to the TV. I take it as he is still shy around me, but next time he must talk, shaking his head will not do it. 

While taking a bath, I was actually pretending to talk to that Anthony Johnson. How I was going to talk to him and how I was going to win the deal. Now, I'm motivated. After being dressed and ready, I saw Ace going into the bathroom. 

I went to call that person. I dialed him number, my heart started to beat fast. Wtf... All this time in the shower was for nothing, pretending to be professional and ready to take the house. Shit! Its ringing. What I do? What I do? 

Too late, the person already took the phone, it must be Anthony Johnson. Michelle you can do, Remember its for Ace and the dogs. Yes, I love dogs. They are my favorite. 

The person said,"Hello, is there anyone?" 

Shit! I'm ignoring the dealer, why must the cute dogs come into my head right now.

I said trying to mask my feeling and emotion," Hello, I'm Michelle Paul, Is this Anthony Johnson? I'm here to talk about the house being sold over the internet. Is it still available?"

Good Michelle good. Introduce the topic of the conversation is a good conversation starter. 

He replied,"No, I'm sorry. This is not Anthony, I'm this friend, Luca Robinson. He forgot his phone over her but you can talk to me about the house and yes, it is still available."

Wow! His voice is just wow. I never heard someone with this voice. Control Michelle control, I said to myself mentally, shaking my head. Luca Robinson? Hot name, hope that person is as hot as his name. What am I thinking? I'm a mother now and I have two dogs, I can't think like that, what would Ace think about me. 

"Hello Michelle, are you there?", Luca said, I'm ignoring him again.

I said immediately,"Yes, I'm here. Sorry, I was thinking but that not important. We are here to talk about the house, I would like to buy that house please. So, what you propose?"

After some time, he said,"We can give you it around $ 150,000. Is that okay for you?"

What! That is more that okay, but I'm never going to say that instead I said," What If I said $ 100,000 are you okay with that?"

He laughed and said,"How about $125,000?"

I smiled and agreed. Deal done. I said," Thank you, Luca. It was nice meeting you."

He replied," Pleasure all mine. So, when are you moving over here? Any particular reason of coming here, Michelle?"

I replied,"Wow, that too many question in one sentence, Luca. Maybe, next week I will be coming, not sure."

I saw Ace coming in my direction, staring on me and sat just in front of me. I feel like I did something bad. I didn't even flirt with him. 

He said," Then, I will be waiting for you."

Did he just say that? What a creep.

I said,"Yeah, sure... I will make the purchase online and bye, have a nice day."

He replied,"Thank you, same goes to you."

We hung up. I looked at Ace's questioning eyes and said,"We are moving to Blackmoon village, so pack your things because its going to be a new start for us."

He looked excited and asked,"and the dogs."

I smiled and said,"The dogs also, what will us be without them?"

He smiled. 

I checked the time, its already lunch time. I asked," What do you want to eat?"

He think for some time and reply very excitingly,"Pasta."

I smiled and said,"Yay!! Pasta but you will help me in cooking that."

He nodded and follow me to the kitchen.

Pasta is delicious and is going to be Ace favorite food. What will happened now? Who was this man, Luca Robinson? And Anthony Johnson?
