We had been flying for days. 'Land ahoy!' Mark yelled. The colourful lands of Marilion appeared on the horizon. We speeded towards them. We were tired and needed some rest. 'Where will we stay?' Mark asked me. I knew I should go and see my family, but I was scared. Scared that they didn't want me back. 'I don't know. It depends if my family wants us to stay.' 'So we are going to see your family?' 'I guess.' I answered. I didn't want to think about my family. I left them to become a human. But to become one I had to join the ravens. I left them to become part of an evil organisation. They probably hated me. We flew over the beach and turned towards the city. It looked so pretty in the light of the setting sun. It looked exactly the same now as when I left it. The giant tree in the middle housed the rulers of the lands and the smaller trees housed entire families. Mark looked around with a curious look on his face. This was new territory for him. 'It looks cool.' He said. Then I saw my family's tree and I started descending towards it. Mark followed me. I knocked on the door. And I heard my mother yell. She was probably yelling for my uncle. We heard footsteps approaching towards the door and the door opened. And there stood my mother.

So they have arrived. Messages from the coastline pawns started flooding in. They were headed for the city. One of the smarter pawns had taken a picture of our guests. I looked at it. The girl seemed familiar, but I knew the boy. He was the one that I wanted. I looked at him, he looked just the same as he did when I first saw him in 1867. Those were the days. He was a new recruit and Lucy had brought him in. The moment that I saw him I knew he would be mine. But he had managed to slip away. But here he was again, within my reach. I licked my lips, I was thirsty for his love. 'I want him here!' I yelled and my minions left the office in search of the boy that was shown on the screen. Who was that girl? I knew her face, but I couldn't remember her name. I removed some of the pawns from the board. And others i placed around the office. If my minions couldn't bring them here, they would come by themselves. I could sense it.

I feared that my mother would yell at me. But she just cried and gave me a hug. 'We have missed you.' She said to me. The rest of the family came to look as well. When they saw me everyone started talking at once. They were asking questions and telling me that they missed me. They ran towards me and I drowned in their hugs and smooches. Then my mother asked me the question I had feared all along. 'Where are your sisters?' Then it was my turn to cry and I shook my head. 'They are...' I whispered. I couldn't bring myself to say it. My mother seemed to understand and her eyes filled themselves with tears. The rest of my family was whispering amongst themselves. Once they realized what had happened to my sisters their whispering slowly died down. 'They died peacefully.' I lied. I couldn't tell them of Kris' betrayal and her brutal death nor could I tell them how Luka had died. My mother smiled and nodded. 'We have no bodies to burn, but we will have a ceremony tomorrow morning.' My mother announced. I knew that I had to go there. The ravens could wait. 'Please come in and your friend can join too.' My mother said and she pushed herself through the wall of family members. They finally started to walk in as well and I followed them. Mark followed me. The house was still furnished the same. 'Do you want to sleep in your own room?' My mom asked me. I nodded. I would love to sleep in my own bed again. 'Where do you want your companion to sleep?' 'He can join me in my room.' My mother looked at me in shock, yet she nodded in agreement. I could tell that she didn't like Mark. The way she looked at him. Mark hadn't noticed. He stepped forward and wanted to shake my mom's hand, yet she didn't. 'I don't touch the hands of dead people.' She said. I looked at her in shock. 'What?!' I yelled. 'He should have died years ago.' 'What do you mean?' 'His aura is clouded by death. Haven't you looked at his aura?' 'No...' I said. I hadn't thought about that. I turned around and gave Mark a good look. When I turned on my magic I could see what my mother meant. Mark was clouded in death. But death couldn't reach him. 'But he is alive.' I told my mom. 'I won't touch the dead.' My mother said and I knew I couldn't win this discussion. I sighed and looked at Mark. He didn't seem angry or sad about what happened with my mother. He just seemed interested. 'Do you want something to eat?' My mom asked. We both shook our heads. 'Not really, but thank you anyways.' Mark said politely to my mother. She didn't look him in the face, instead she looked at his shirt. I turned around and went up the stairs with Mark closely behind.

Mira seemed to be angry at her mother. 'Don't be mad at her.' I told her. I was used to things like that. People that can 'see' say that he is dead. I would have been dead, if it wasn't for my immortality. 'It's just so unfair towards you. You were nice to her, but he treats you like this because of your aura.' Mira answered. She opened a wooden door with her name on it. We walked in and found ourselves in a small room. In it was a small desk and in the corner stood a bed. But the walls really stood out to me. They were painted in every colour of the rainbow. The setting sun shined right through the window and in it's red light the room seemed to glow. It was a nice place. I liked it. Mira walked towards the window and closed the curtains. Once she did that the walls started to glow in the darkness. On the ceiling were painted stars and on the floor were flowers. It looked amazing. 'Woah!' I told her. She smiled and walked towards me. She took my hand and dragged me towards the bed. On there sat a teddy bear. It looked old and tattered, which proved that he had been loved. I took it in my arms. I always had had a soft spot for teddy bears. Mira smiled at me. 'That's Otto, my favourite teddy.' I smiled and lay him back on the bed. Then Mira took his place in my arms. We kissed and I felt her stress melt away. She walked back and we fell onto the bed. We didn't break of our kiss. Mira waved her hand and our clothes were gone. I could feel her body against mine and I craved her more and more each second.

Mark was lying on top of me. He kissed me so passionately that I forgot all my worries. I put my hands on his lower back and pressed him close. The sensation of him being inside of me was pure ecstasy. We continued our kiss, the kiss got wilder as more time passed.

'They are staying at the girl's family?' I asked. So the girl is from around here. 'Get out of here, you piece of shit!' I yelled at the minion. Instead of leaving the moment he had delivered the message he just stood there. But now he saluted me and left my room. I looked at the boy in the picture. I licked my lips, finally he would be mine after all those years of waiting.
