I was trembling. I was scared. The leader of the ravens would be like no enemy I had ever faced before. The door opened and a girl looked at us. She was smiling. 'Please come in.' She said. Mark followed her inside. I followed closely behind. In the corner stood another girl. She looked just like the first one. They must be sisters. 'It's been a while, Cassandra.' Mark told the first girl, he said her name like it was an insult. 'I have waited for your return, Mark.' The girl, Cassandra, responded. She looked at Mark with desire in her eyes. The other girl looked at me with a smile. She licked her lips. 'The other one is mine, right?' She said. Cassandra nodded. 'Yes, Charlotte. She's all yours.' The girl, Charlotte, dashed towards me. I was barely able to dodge her sharp nails. She moved extremely fast. I pressed my bracelet and conjured my flaming sword. It was made of a special kind of steel. It was dipped in the stream of golden water flowing through the mountains in the west of Marilion. It could kill anything. Even Mark. The girl lashed out with her nails and she ripped open my shirt. I held the sword steady. It was a light sword. I parried her next few attacks. I couldn't go on the offense. I could only defend myself against her vicious attacks. I tried to activate my magic, but this place sucked away my magic powers. I blocked another attack and she got wounded. No blood came out but she screamed in pain. I saw the opening and my sword pierced through her chest. Right through her heart. But while I stood there she ripped a hole in my chest. We fell to the ground together. I felt myself losing consciousness. 'NO!' Mark cried. He ran away from Cassandra and fell on his knees. He tried to stop the bleeding with his hands. I was crying too. I had wanted to spend more time with him. I didn't want to leave him. He took me in his arms. I couldn't speak anymore. The darkness started to take over. Mark looked at me and shook his head. 'No...' He whispered. 'This cannot be. Not even fate could be so cruel!' He yelled. It was the first time that I had seen him cry. I lifted up my hands and brushed his tears away. But new ones took their place. I smiled at him. I wanted him to remember me smiling. I stared at him until the darkness took over.

I held Mira's body in my arms. I could feel her life force disappear. She was smiling at me. I looked back at her. But I could only cry. I hated fate. How could it be so cruel. Everyone I loved had been taken from me. And now it would take Mira away from me as well. Mira breathed out her last breath and her eyes turned blank. I closed her eyes. I put her back down onto the ground. I took the sword out of Charlotte's chest and got up. I was trembling with anger. Cassandra had caused her death. She and her sister. Her sister was already dead, yet Cassandra didn't seem to care. She stood there leaned against the wall. She had been watching the whole scene from there. I walked towards her. I started running towards her. Cassandra charged towards me as well. But I dodged her attack and the sword went through her chest. She groaned as she fell to the ground.

Mario called me. 'My sister has been killed!' He yelled through the phone. 'What?!' 'My sister that my parents adopted, Elizabeth. She has been found dead in the room of her best friend!' 'No... It cannot be.' 'It's true!' 'The police are investigating the matter!' 'No way!' 'They are but they are probably going to give up, since they haven't found the murder weapon. They couldn't find any traces of the killer either. All they found was a black feather!' 'Woah!' I exclaimed. If this was true... that couldn't be good. 'Meet me at the mall!' I told him and I hung up. I knew he'd be there. I ran out of the door and headed for the mall.

I looked at Cassandra as she died. She didn't scream. She accepted her fate quietly. Then I looked at Mira and I wanted to kill myself with the sword. But I couldn't do it. I had to live, for Mira's sake. I sat down next to her. I knew what I had to do. I needed to go to my hometown. I wouldn't inform her family. It would be better for them to not know. I took Mira in my arms again and I unfolded my wings. I walked down the stairs and left the building. I hung the sword on my belt. I might need it again. I jumped in the air and headed north, towards Wintaria.

I looked down at my fallen sisters. I smiled. Someone had actually managed to kill them. I looked at the screen and searched for a replay of yesterday's events. I saw how Charlotte fell at the hands of a girl with red hair, but she had managed to take her down with her. A boy seemed to mourn her death, but he managed to kill Cassandra. The boy walked out with the red haired girl in his arms. 'This boy would make an excellent opponent.' I said to myself. I knew where the boy was from. He was from Wintaria. I remembered him from back then. He had stolen my Catelyn from me. My beautiful Catelyn.
