Indy walked back to class, looking at every reflective surface to check for some sign of green. Luckily she saw nothing green related.
"It's nice of you to join us, Miss Vetra." Her teacher said,
"Sorry." Indy wasn't in the mood for explanation. She looked around the class to find any vacant seats. Conveniently, Liam had saved her a spot.
"Hey" Liam said quietly,
"Hi"
"You okay?" He asked
She simply replied with a "Mhm" She knew Liam wanted to ask more, but he didn't push.
"So, you coming tonight? To the game, I mean."
"Well, I have nothing better to do I guess," She grinned as Liam quietly chuckled.

Indy ran into Lydia and Malia, on her way back to her locker.
"Hello, hello" She said. Lydia tried to smile back, while Malia just looked blankly at her.
Completely ignoring her, Malia turned to Lydia and continued "Her whole family's dead."
"Perfect," Lydia replied, "Oh, we're talking about Meredith."
"Yeah, you know. Like, Lydia's banshee friend." Malia added.
"Yeah I know Malia."
"Right, well I need to talk to her because of the dead pool and all," she whispered, "and we need permission to see her in Eichen House, from a family member. But as you have heard, she does not have any"
"Handy,"
"Maybe we go back to the art room, or music room?" Malia said optimistically,
"I'm not plucking piano strings for two hours waiting for some, supernatural inspiration"
"Fine, what else do banshees do?"
"Thing is Malia," Indy half replied, before Lydia continued,
"You think I know?" she said bluntly, while Malia just stood, "I can't just, turn, this on. I'm not like you guys. I don't have claws, or glowing eyes, or some super senses. I just have, voices, in my head."
"Lyds," Indy said, looking at the other students. Then, Lydia just walked away, "Lydia." Indy followed her down the corridor. She walked outside and sat on a bench.
"I just can't," Lydia said, rubbing her temples, "It's just so hard. People are being murdered and they need me. But this so called 'ability' of mine is not doing a thing." Indy rubbed her hand on Lydia's back.
"I'm not going to tell you that this is going to be okay, because by the sound of it, it isn't," Lydia looked at her and raised her perfectly manicured eyebrows, "The only thing I can say, is that I'm here for you and I'll do anything I can to make this a little bit better for you."
"Like doing my homework?"
"Maybe not that. My skills are limited," Which made them both laugh, "Besides, haven't you heard. I'm now the permanent babysitter of a hottie, who has IED and is also a werewolf."
"Is that so!"
"Unfortunately"
"I beg to differ sis'. I think you should get in."
"Excuse me!"
"What? You just said he's hot. He's Scott's beta" Lydia started counting Liam's traits on her fingers, "You're the same age, you're both new and there's clearly some sexual tension happening."
"Hey, cut it out" Indy pushed Lydia's hand down.
"I feel my banshee instincts kicking back into gear."
"Well, I'm glad I could be of assistance." They both chuckled.
