Sybbie is in her room reading a book when Anna her lady's maid comes in. Sybbie is a kind (and sometimes a naughty) person and does not treat her servants badly and she loves to have long conversations with them.
"Hello miss".
Sybbie looks from her book, she hadn't realized that Anna came in.
"Oh hello Anna. I hadn't seen you there, I was just reading a very fascinating novel and I was just very absorbed into it".
"That's alright miss". says Anna.
"So what is the latest gossip in the servants hall, tell me everything". Says Sybbie
"Not much we have a new footman named Louis, he is very handsome and we all talk about the fair that is coming to town this week".
"Owww a new footman I'd like to meet him".
" Are you not interested in the fair?"
"No, only the new footman of course".
"Miss?" Anna asks sheepishly.
"Yes" replies Sybbie innocently.
Anna looked at her for a moment with a small smile on her face and leaves.
Sybbie says to her self " I hope that new footman likes me!"
And off she goes down to have supper and try to find out why her father has been acting weird lately.
