The three of us barely had any time to discuss the events of last night since the first thing that greeted me and Alex once we reached our apartment was Seungcheol ushering us all to go to sleep 'cause we had classes the next morning, but not before going all proud dad on us and telling to the squealing Mingyu to shut up. Needless to say that none of us actually had a good night sleep.
And so it's not surprising that in the very next morning, I'm greeted by Mingyu's booming voice.
"Alright you two, sit down! We need to talk!" he demanded while pointing to the couch.
"Mingyu, don't you think it's too early for this?" Alex groaned while coming out of the bathroom.
"There's coffee on the table. Now sit!" I was going to point out that we are not dogs but coffee was my biggest priority so I complied, followed closely by Alex.
"Alright then! So, as we all know, the both of you are now dating. Which is great by the way, I am so proud! My little shy babies are all grown up!" Mingyu enthusiastically noted, as wiped out a fake tear from his eye.
"We're older than yo-"
"That's beside the point! Now let me finish! " he interrupted Alex. " As I was saying before, you two are dating now. However, you're still living with me, so I think we should set some ground rules. Okay?"
"Sure. What do you propose then?" I asked in hopes that he wouldn't go over the top.
"It's very simple. Rule number one, go easy on the PDA! I know that you two are probably not that into it, but still."
"Sounds fair. What else?"
"Rule number two, do not involve me in any possible couple quarrel. As unlikely as I think it is, bad stuff happens all the time, so please, just don't let things get away too out of control. I don't want to pick sides."

"Don't plan on letting that happen." Alex interjected.
"Great! Last but not least, if you two want...you know...some time alone, please tell me in advance. I'm too young to be traumatized! I don't want witness any unnecessary stuff, especially-"
" We get the message! Anything else?"
"Nah, I'm cool."
"Great!" and with that, I made my way to the kitchen counter to get more coffee.
"I can't believe it finally happened." Mingyu sighed. "It almost feels like yesterday when I met the emo looking boy and the short nerd."
"Why do you always have to comment about my height?" Alex fumed.
I sat down on our dinner table and watched where the two of them were now standing up. This is not going to end nicely.
" 'Cause my cute little friend, you are very small!" Mingyu mocked while pinching her cheeks.
