A/N

I underestimated how busy I was going to beat this time of year so I won't be able to post once a month, but as soon as possible. Whether that means two chapters a month or one chapter in two months. I wanted to post often but I am working on too many things... Any question or suggestions go in the comments. Enjoy!

E/A/N

I saw a large black shadow behind the boy.

Then everything went dark.

The fox was unconscious for awhile until she felt that the warm soft thing she was asleep on disappear, the hard cold stone then replacing it.

"Nnnnn" My shoulder stung a little bit. I felt so drained.

"Hey, Redhead. You up?" I opened my eyes and gazed up upon the furry sitting next to me. Jupiter looked more like a bear now and less like a teenager, but none of us really look human.  Wait did he just-

"You couldn't think of anything better than that. I was expecting something like Torch Kid or Heats Flamesgirl." He snorted. I tried sitting up but I felt my left arm and ribs sting so I lied back down. I looked around for the bunny girl who helped me earlier. I didn't see her but I saw a... unique boy with wings like a bat's huddled around something. "Where'd that girl go?" I whispered over to Jupiter. He just looked at the boy with the wings.

"He says she's got a concussion. Fluffybuns threw her down hard. Bat kid fought him off. Weird kid, but who'm I to say." That's surprising, I mean, he's a twig. He doesn't look like he'd stand a chance against Dr. Leon... He looks like he's asleep. I looked around and at the gallery of abominations. It's sad; all of us were thrown out or stolen from our homes for torture and experimentation.

"This is a random question but why do you keep using nicknames? It's not gonna hurt you if you say his real name." My question made him smirk. He looked down at me with a stupid look on his face.

"I use nicknames 'cause it's funny as heck and pisses people off."I chuckled. It was silent for a couple of seconds, so I started thinking.

"They're going to come back for us. This building isn't that big, they'll just find us and punish us." After saying that I felt super pessimistic, but we have to do something.  He looked over at me with a frown. What if Dr.Leon found us here with no guard up at all; like a field of sitting ducks. He would hurt so many of us. He would kill me.

I will die.

It will hurt....................r......................................................................................

I will die...............w.....a...........r.............e................................d...........................

I don't want to die!....w.................r...e..d............................................................

I DON'T WANT TO DIE!...........w...a..k.e.......u....p..........................RED!

"WAKE UP RED!"

I opened my eyes that I didn't realized were closed. I turned over to look at Jupiter and saw fire glowing out of each place he bit me like a bunch of little blow torches. Oh my god what the heck! I stuck my hand through the flames  and grabbed by shoulder and squeezed. The fire turned down a couple notches slowly burnt out. Weird, no burn marks on my hand on arm.

"What the hell was that! You suddenly passed out, your arm caught on fire and you wouldn't wake up. Are you alright?" I paused a second trying to grasp what happened. I looked at my wound. It should have healed by now. I felt around for my ribs. They weren't healed either. Why am I not healing?

"Something happened to my regenerative abilities; they aren't working. But I have a super high pain tolerance so this is nothing. I want to get up. I feel... like I should be doing something." I looked around. I sniffed the air doing an area check. I couldn't smell the doctor nearby but I did smell something very familiar. I tried getting up again, but this time I ignored the sting. The world spun and I struggled to keep my balance. "Heh. Oh, yeah. Forgot. Blood loss sucks." I walked over and slumped on the wall. Jupiter just watched not knowing what to do.

We were all currently a lot further down the hallway than where are cells were. I walked a bit until I came across a door and opened it. I stumbled into the drug room. The shelves in the middle of the room were full of prescriptions for people who didn't exsist. I walked down the aisles until I ran into a metal cabinet. "Might need those." I took the bandages that were on top of the desk. I sniffed around looking for any sent of cigarette. I had opened all the drawers until I found it. "Every frickin time." I sighed trying not to let it get to my head and grabbed the lighter and wobbled back down the aisles. I went down to the end and started looking for the pain killers.

Because I have exceptional memory and learn really quickly they tried to get me to be their errand boy. They taught me the names of most prescriptions, side effects and what they're used for. I got to learn a lot about the layout of the building running back and forth. I tried to get out, but I didn't get far. I collapsed in the snow. That's what why they turned me into a fox chimera. They thought it might be more successful if the subjects personality matched the animal's before hand. They were right.

"Red, what are you doing?" I turned and looked. Jupiter.

"Guess that names gonna stick, huh? I'm grabbing stuff I'll need. Here." I tossed the plastic prescription bottle at him. "We need to wake the bunny up in around two to two and a half hours and give those to her. It'll help the pain. If you don't wake her she might fall into a coma." I walked back to the desk to get some disinfectant. I swore I probably looked drunk trying to walk in a straight line. How do I know how a drunk walks?... Forget it.

"Are you okay? You don't look okay." Jupiter looked at me with a worried look.

"Oh gee. Me? Not okay after loosing tons of blood after being attacked by a lion? No way. Oww." I bumped into that one shelf that stuck out a little bit. I almost tripped into the desk, but I caught my self... I sighed after a couple second of silence and him looking at me doubtedly. "No I'm not alright. I can't think. I'm dizzy. I'm freaking out because I don't know what to do next. We can't really escape from here, can we? I mean, we would freeze out there. Heh." Using the desk for 'support', heh, I opened a couple drawers and looked for disinfectant. He paused with a look on his face.

"I have an idea. Yes, it's crazy but not insane. I'll come back in like five or a few more minutes." What is he talking about? I was going to ask if I could come, but I felt really woozy all of a sudden and decided it would be better if I didn't follow him.

I would just slow him down.

I need to lay down, anyway.
