I looked down and giggled, "How's it like to be looked down upon and laughed at?"
This was the first time I felt satisfactory. It was great.
"What did you say? I am going to need you to speak up, Beefy Cat."
Dr. León whipped his fluffy face around and gave me the "You're-so-dead" look. I never thought this man could take anything seriously. Now I know it's possible.
"You're a little hot headed, aren't cha?" I asked. The doctor pounced and swung with both of his bulky arms at me but I back flipped at an angle to the other wall. The hallway isn't very wide, like two and half to four yards, I'll have to be careful when dodging attacks not to get cornered. The old cat kept swinging and it was getting harder to move out of the way. He looked so angry. I thought he was just a crazy geezer, how did he learn to move this fast? I had to focus everything on defensively dodging. Grr! I wasting time!
While I'm busy dodging attacks like this is the matrix, a minute goes by and my speed and flame are getting exhausted. Jupiter went to punch him, but he used alchemy to put a wall between them. He blocks every attack I throw at him. Damn. I have to keep trying.
"Hyaauh?" I threw a punch but he moved out of the way? Shoot! I stumbled forward tying to turn aroun-

The terrible screech of that one girl echoed the hallway.
"No. Don't do it. They said to stay back" The black haired boy, huddled with the others in the corner, whispered. I ignored him and peeped over the corner. A golden monster had locked his jaws on the fox's shoulder. Blood was everywhere. On the floor, on the girl, on the lion. I have to help her. I went to step out but someone grabbed my hand. I turned back, curious as of who cared so much try and stop someone so useless. It was the boy, but now that I got to look at him not huddled in a blanket he looked like a walking skeleton. Probably hadn't eaten in a week; poor kid.
"I'm sorry." I slipped out of his weak wimpy grasp and turned the corner. I don't know why I apologized, but this seems like the best thing to do, just a thought. I tip-toed to the fighters, but something smashed through the wall. Out of instinct I jumped back to avoid being crushed by the flying rubble. The bear dude was standing in the wall gap, his left arm looked terribly bruised. He turned and saw the blood. I could feel him shake out of either anger of fear. I went up to him and reached for his hand. It made him jump and look down.
"Shh. Get him off of her. I can stop the bleeding." I whispered. He looked at the lion not moving and just hanging on to her shoulder. He ran up to them and grabbed the lions jaw and tore it open. That's one way to do it... I ran up to the girl laying limp, bleeding out. I struggled to pull her through the wall. It's hard to lift someone more than half your weight.
"She has already lost a lot of blood." I ripped off her sleeve and saw the huge teeth marks so close to her collar bone and all the stitches on her left arm. She must have been here for a long time... I ripped the sleeve's seam and rapped it around here shoulder. I dipped my finger in a bit of the blood and drew a transmutation circle on a part of her shoulder that wasn't covered by the cloth. A white light traced the circle and the endless bleeding stopped. I felt her forehead. I was surprised how warm it was. And she's still breathing, so that's good. Now the bear battled the lion. Now if he were to pass out I definitely couldn't carry him. Will this just be an endless fight of beast or will one give in?
I was startled when I heard a groan come from the girl. I thought she was unconscious?
"How many minutes has it been since we started fighting?" her voice was raspy, tired and tough. How is she so cool? She was just bleeding out not even 30 seconds ago.
"Uhhh, about four minutes, why?" She tried to get up. "Hey! Hey! Don't move, you'll open your wound!" She looked puzzled and then reached for her left arm and felt the blood. She frowned.
"I still have half a minute please hurry me over there." She looked so eager to fight. Fearless.
"Why do you want to fight? What do you mean half a minute? Why?"
"Just do it!" she barked. The fire in her eyes made me shiver. She gritted her teeth and growled. Determination isn't something you usually see in someone who has grown up being experimented on or tortured until they gave in. I threw her uninjured arm over mine.
"Can you walk?" She looked surprised that I would help her.
"If you mean in a straight line, no. Strong with this one, Nausea is. But yeah, I can probably walk." I walked her through the wall gap and I tried to slow down after I heard her breathing heavily, but she kept pushing forward.
"What are you going to do? Don't think I'll let you fight like he is. I-"
"Just-" She paused and looked focused but exhausted trying to catch her breath. "Stand back. I don't want to burn you." Burn me? What is she talking... about... She held a flame in her hand. I stepped back in awe and watched it grow. She closed her fingers and began to walk toward the fight very wobbly. Then she began picking up pace. The beasts stopped and looked back. The scary lion man smiled and started running toward her. They looked like they were going to punch each other but the lion's arm was longer and she flew to the ground. The lion stepped on her stomach and I heard her exhale loudly. Oh god, he's really gonna kill her! I have to get there b-before... I have to!
I sprinted down the hall. My numb feet hitting the floor as I ran. He smiled down at her with the most insane, devilish grin. He laughed at her pain and put more weight on to his foot. I ran faster when I heard her rib crack. I jumped in and landed on his knee. I jumped off and kneed him in the jaw. He went to go swing at me but I pushed off his chest, sending him a few steps back and off of the fox, and went to go pick her up and get out of there but-
He grabbed my face, lifted me off the ground and threw me into the ground, head first. My pathetic whimper echoed down the hall. I opened my eyes to see him but everything swirled. I can't get up. All I hear is ringing. My head hurt so much. I smelled him right in front of me and tried to get out of the way but ended up falling over. I looked at both of him swirling all over the place. He grinned and reached for me I closed my eyes and threw my arms over my head. When nothing happened I put my arms down and opened my eyes. I saw the black haired boy from before kneel down and look at me.
"Where... Hurt?" I couldn't understand most of what he was saying. My head stung as I tried to listen. "M-my head... Hurts." I felt so tired and everything started to blur.
I saw a large black shadow behind the boy.
Then everything went dark.

Again I am sorry I missed the set deadline. I tried to finish the fight seen, but it'll need another post.
