Chapter 9.

I walked into my grandmas house to an eagerly waiting Abbey, "Oh my god tell me how it went!" She said as she grabbed my arm and pulled me to the couch. "It was.. Perfect." "What do you mean by perfect? You can't be vague with me, I need details!" She insisted. "It felt like a dream, it was so beautiful

there and with Connor.. It was even better." I said. "Alright forget the Nicholas Sparks details, did you kiss him?!" I didn't say anything, I just thought back to when we kissed and just smiled. "OMG! I'm so happy right now." She grabbed me and gave me the hugest hug ever. "But did he ask you to be his girlfriend?" "No. Not yet. Maybe he's just checking to make sure he's right about his feelings." I said. "He has to be! This is the second date and I could tell he was crazy about you in the short amount of time he was here."

*Connors POV*

I walked into my house and realized I had left my phone home all day, so I headed up to my room to check it. Of course I had a bunch of notifications from fans and I had some texts from my friends.

Kian: so how'd it go?

Kian: Connor? Oh I see, you're "busy" ;)

Me: it was the best date I've ever been on, and no we didn't get "busy"

Kian: where did you guys go?

Me: she took me to this waterfall we used to go to as kids it was perfect actually.

Kian: so did you ask her to be your girlfriend?

Me: no.. I chickened out. I kissed her though, and I was going to ask her afterwards, but I couldn't do it. I've never had a girl make me feel so nervous before.

Kian: awe little Connor is nervous!

Me: shut up kian lol

I know I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend I just need to find the perfect place to do it and gain the confidence to ask her.

*Destiny's POV*

All I could think about was Connor, I was so distracted by him. "Hey destiny pass me the remote." ..... "Destiny!" "Oh what?" I jumped. "Can you pass me the remote please?" "Oh yeah sure." "Wow he's got you in a daydream, why don't you just get it over with and ask him to date you?" "Ha no. I don't do that. I prefer the guy to ask the girl. Call me old fashioned." "So if you guys do date and he invites you to meet his friends make up an excuse to take me with you because your girl is over here single and ready to mingle and his friends are quite attractive if I do say so myself." Said abbey. "Omg you're crazy" "I'm being serious, you're my wingman, wing-woman, now." "Oh the kitchen is over there." "But I didn't ask-" "so you can get some water." I said, laughing. "Ugh! That's not cool. Okay, I'll remember that next time you want something."

But hey, she was right though. Connor, that boy kept me daydreaming. He's all I'd think about, but I'm too awkward and shy to say anything about it. Ugh, why can't I be like the girls who are like "hey I like you. Let's date." Props to them. But what if Connor is the same way, maybe he thinks about me too, maybe he's too shy to ask me also. Then what do I do? We're just at a stand still now, waiting for the other to make a move ; wondering if it'll ever happen. So for now I guess I'll just drift off to la-la-land and blush until he does.
