Chapter 10.

*CONNORS POV

I knew that i wanted to ask Destiny to be my girlfriend, I just didn't know how. I wanted to make it special, something different. But I needed help, so around 9:30am after I knew Destiny was already out on her morning run I went over to her grandmas to talk to Abbey.

*knock knock*

"Oh hey Connor!" Abbey said, "hey, I need your help with something." "Sure, come on in." She said, "so what is it that you need my help with?" She asked as we say down on the couch, "I want to finally ask Destiny to be my girlfriend, but I want it to be unique, something that she won't see coming but will love." I said, "hmm, that's hard.. She's a difficult person; It's hard to tell what she really likes." Abbey said. "You could try a scavenger hunt? Or a Starbucks cup?" "No, I don't really like those... Hmm." We sat for about 30 minutes trying to come up with creative ideas "I've got it!" I said. "Great! what is it?" "You'll see! I'm gonna head back home and get started on it." "Alright, let me know if you need help or anything" Abbey said. "Alright I will!"

I got back to my house as fast as I could and ran up to my room, I straightened myself up and grabbed my camera. "Hey what's up you guys it's Connor. Today's video goes out to all the guys, it's about 'How to ask a girl to be your girlfriend' sometimes it can be tricky, you could get frustrated and confused wondering if she even likes you back sometimes. But I'm going to give you a few tips on how to ask that important question. The first thing you need to do is to take her on a few dates, get to know her and figure out if you truly have feelings for her. Maybe a picnic in the park or a movie date. Talk to her but don't always start the conversations, she probably has questions or wants to know something and you've got to be patient and answer them. The thing to really know if there are fireworks is the first kiss, you gotta make sure the timing is right and nothing can mess it up. It doesn't have to he spectacular like a movie or anything, but something she won't forget. Alright, now you're ready to ask her out. You need to think of ideas on how to do it. You could just ask, or make a picture, or write it in sand or on a Starbucks cup.. You could even make a video. Try not to stumble over your words because then it could go downhill from there, just look her in the eyes and say what you feel. For example, "I really like you, these past few days have been amazing. Spending time with you is all I want to do. I've known you for a long time and I just hope we could take this to the next level. Destiny, will you be my girlfriend?"

That was how my video ended, so I immediately started to edit it. I didn't make it perfect I just cleaned it up a bit. My whole body was shaking, I hadn't even begun to upload the video yet. So now all I have to do is hope.. Hope and wait.
