"Hey, what's up?" Danny says answering his phone.

"Danny, I need help! I just made the stupidest mistake of my life and I don't know what to do," Lily practically yells into her phone.

"Wow, okay," Danny replies, while rubbing his ear from Lily's unexpected screaming. "Lets start by taking a few deep breaths and lowering our voices."

"Sorry," Lily apologizes. "Its just that I said yes to something that I shouldn't have said yes to and now I'm kind of freaking out."

"Yeah, I can see that. Quick question, why did you call me and not Brandon? I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm pretty good at making horrible decisions myself. If you remember correctly I only have four toes on my left foot."

"Yeah, I know that. You somehow manage to remind us of that at least once a week," Lily replies, rubbing the temples on her forehead. "Brandon told us that he was busy tonight, so your advice is all I've got."

"Oh yeah, he did..." Danny hums suspiciously into the phone. "So what's the problem?"

"Well I noticed that Ayla hasn't been at school for the past couple of days, and then during debate practice she never showed up at Topanga's, which she usually does even if she missed school. So after practice was over I thought that for some reason I should go see if she is okay. Before I did, I got some kind of tea thing, that her uncle said she always orders. I got to her house and knocked on her door, but she wasn't there, so I decided to check to see if she was on the roof, because she used to go up there when we were friends. I got up there and there she was and I started freaking out. I couldn't even put together a full sentence without stuttering in the middle. Then she accidentally drank my hot chocolate instead of her drink. After that she told me that Ben had cheated on her and her friends knew but didn't tell her. As I was about to leave she made me try her drink, so I did. Then I had a foam mustache on my face, but I didn't know I had a foam mustache on my face, so she decides to wipe it off and then licks the foam off of her thumb. For some reason that made me even more nervous, and all I wanted to do was run away as fast as I could. I tried to leave again, but before I could she asked me if I wanted to hang out and I didn't know what to say, but I ended up saying yes. Long story short she is coming over to my house at six, and what am I supposed to do if I can't even talk to her," Lily rambles on, all seeming in one breath.

"Okay, first, I'm pretty sure that you won't have any trouble being able to talk. Next, can we go back to the beginning? Did you say Ayla?" Danny questions.

"Yes, I said Ayla," Lily responds. "What am I supposed to do?"

"So Ayla, the girl who had a coma in middle school, was you're best friend for three years until one day she wasn't, randomly asks you out on a date?" Danny inquires, as Ayla hears a bit of commotion being picked up in the background of Danny's phone.

"What? I never said it was a date," Lily argues. "She just wants to hang out together."

"So its a date?" Danny repeats, before Lily can manage to hear him mumble to someone he is with, "shut up, she called me."

"It's not a date," Lily insists. "Who are you talking to?"

"No one- hey- stop it- no- fine. Lily, no one wants to talk to," Danny, says before handing someone else his phone.

"Lily?"

"I'm guessing this is 'no one'?" Lily responds, furrowing her eyebrows together.

"No, this is Brandon," the voice replies.

"Or is it Patrick?" Danny says with a smirk in the background.

Brandon narrows his eyes and shakes his head at his friend. "What happened? Ayla didn't actually ask you out on a date, did she?"

"I-I don't know. I think she just wants to hang out. Why would she ever ask me out on a date?" Lily asks. "And hey, I thought you said you were busy this afternoon."

"I was," Brandon claims. "But that thing ended earlier than I expected it to, but that really doesn't matter right now. What did you say?"

"I said yes, but I think I should cancel."

"What? No, you can't cancel on her," Brandon retorts.

"Why not? I could hardly even speak to her today. What are we suppose to talk about?" Lily reasons.

"Why don't you guys go to that art show that we were going to go to tonight?" Brandon suggests. "She likes art, doesn't she?"

"I don't know," Lily responds, raising her voice. "That's kind of my whole point. We haven't talked to each other in years, and today it was like I completely forgot how to speak when I was with her."

"I'm sure you guys will be able to find something to talk about. Plus, you guys had to have talked about something today, right?"

"Well she did most of the talking- Actually that gives me an idea. Thanks Brandon, I'll call you later," Lily says, abruptly hanging up the phone.

[Around 6 o'clock that night. There is a knock on the Minkus' front door.]

"Hey."

"Hey."
