Tobias.
Loud knock on the door woke me up. Sleepy i can't think any logical explanation to this, so i decide to grab something before opening it. I take kitchen knife and come closer to the door. When i open it, i find Cara shaking.
"Cara?" I whisper.
"Tobias, we need to talk," she says.
"Okay, come in," i frown. "Water?" I offer.
"Won't be bad," she sits on the sofa. I go get her some water, trying to wake up completely.Cara takes water immideately and gives me fake smile.
"What is wrong?" I ask.
"It is about Tris..."
"I don't!" I answer. "I don't want to talk about it now," i really do not. Remembering her, especially at night, makes me feel misetable. I want to disappear, but can't. I can't go to her. I miss her as hell, but still i'd like not to talk about her."No, Tobias, you have to listen," she sounds guilty. At this moment it feels like she is responsible for her death and wants to admit it.
"I am listening," actually it makes sense. Maybe she helped her to go to her own death.
"I know it might sound strange... and...mmm... hard to believe, but...," she stops to take one more sip. "I know, that i should have told you this before, but... i didn't want to hurt you and... oh i don't know how to say it,"
"Say as it is," i am too curious to listen to senseless words.
"Umm... okay," she finally looks into my eyes. "Tris is alive,"Is she joking? It is not funny! It makes me mad. HOW CAN SHE JOKE WITH ME LIKE THAT?
"It is not funny Cara!" I yell and get on my feet.
"I am not kidding Tobias. We... i... i just found weak pulse in her throat, but wasn't sure wether she will leave or not. Then... then Caleb got to know about it and we...we together took her to the Chicago before you... you burried her. And... Caleb... and i we...we just hoped she will wake, but in two years she didn't. However, her hair... nails they grew, her heart was working too,"
"Why didn't you tell me?!" I yell again.
"We... i didn't want to give yiu fake hope. She was in coma. We didn't know she would wake,"
"Why now?! Why did you decide to tell me now then?!" I ask.
"She... she," Cara stammers. "She wwokee upp!"
