"Where did he go?"

"I don't know."

"Well what happened?"

"I don't know, Liam!" I sighed in frustration, running my hands through my hair and pacing around the living room. "He just- we talked, last night. And, I don't know, it didn't go the way either of us had planned obviously, so I came home. Then I did-" I stopped talking, glancing at Harry who's eyes were glued to the floor as Sophie looked between us curiously. "I did something I shouldn't have," I whispered, sitting down on the sofa and looking up at Liam. "I told him something and he obviously didn't take it very well. He wouldn't even wait for me to explain, he left."

"What did you tell him?" Liam asked in confusion.

"I don't want to talk about it, it's-"

"Well to be honest Cassidy, I don't care if you want to talk about it or not," Liam rolled his eyes. "Because you're going to have to talk about it. Louis's been gone for..." he looked at his watch. "Four hours now. He's not answering his phone, he's not replying to texts..."

"Louis's a big boy, he can look after himself," Sophie sighed. "Just drop it, Liam."

"But he's-"

"Drop it, Liam." Sophie shot him warning look.

"With all due respect, Sophie," Liam glared at her. "I think you should keep out of it, you don't know Louis or the situation."

"Clearly, I know more than you think I do," she rolled her eyes. "Read the signs, Liam. It's seriously not that hard to work out what's happened."

"Oh you think because Cassidy opens up to you that you know the shit I've had to deal with because of her and Louis?" Liam snapped. "You don't know a thing."

"I obviously know why she's-"

"Just stop it, both of you," I whispered, interrupting them and letting my head fall into my hands. It had been four hours since I'd told Louis about me and Harry. The way he'd looked at me… It was like he didn't even know who I was. I could see the hurt and confusion in his eyes and I wanted to explain, to tell him we were drunk and I was upset, that I just needed to feel wanted by someone. I wanted to tell him it was a mistake.

But I couldn't.

I didn't get the chance, because he'd stormed out of the house, shoving past Liam and calling Harry a 'fucking dick' on his way out. I'd called him approximately 37 times in the four hours he'd been gone, but he had yet to pick up his phone or reply to any of the texts or voicemails I'd left him. I don't care if I seemed desperate, I needed to talk to him.

"He'll be okay, Cass," Harry mumbled quietly from his spot on the sofa. I looked over, seeing Sophie wince at the glare I shot him. "You'll sort it out, you always do. I'll talk to him." he told me. I stared at him, my eyes narrowed as I tried to work out whether he was being serious. Did he honestly think he could fix this just by talking to Louis?

"I need to talk to Harry," I told Liam, keeping my gaze firmly fixed on the curly-haired boy across the room. "In private."

"Alright, go upstairs then," Liam shrugged. "Me and Sophie will wait here for-"

"Oh for crying out loud!" Sophie groaned loudly, standing up and grabbing old of Liam's arm. "We'll be in the kitchen," she looked pointedly at me as I mouthed a thank you to her. "Come on!" she tutted, pulling a rather confused Liam out of the room. I got up and closed the door after them, feeling Harry eyes on me as I started pacing again.

"He can't get mad at you for this, Cassidy," he muttered. "You're single. It's not like you're dating him or anything, and how much has he messed you around?"
