"Abigail Danielle White, get your f***ing ass down here right now," a man with a slurred voice shouted loud enough to be heard in this room.

It couldn't be possible. It just couldn't be... could it?

"How did he find me," I asked.

"I wanna know the same thing," Travis replied.

"I don't wanna face him. I can't. Not now."

"You want me to go with you?"

"I can't let you do that. If he were to hurt you, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself."

"Abi, you're forgetting that I'm a football player. HIgh Schoolers at a max of 300-350 pounds, all meat and no fat, can probably put more hurt on me than your dad can."

"Fine, but don't do anything, got it?"

"Fine."

"Pinkie promise?" I held up my pinkie.

"I can't pinkie this one." I had to put it down and we headed downstairs. At the bottom of the stairs stood my dad. His hair was a wreck, his eyes were bloodshot, he had stubble, and he just looked plain mad. It kinda scared me a bit. But doesn't it always?

"Where the hell have you been!?! I thought I told you to stay home!"

"You didn't lock all the windows. Plus I only went to school. And Travis left a note saying he wanted to have me stay the night last night since Lea was coming over to visit. Chris and Hunter are the ones that took the note, though, so ask them."

"Alright, I will." So dad started dialing either Hunter or Chris's number and Travis was texting someone. Possibly Hunter and Chris to tell them to go along with it. Dad was apparently convinced, but he still looked mad.

"You should've just stayed in that basement, now you're coming with me!"

"Yes sir." I told Travis goodbye and didn't wanna hug him since my dad kinda knows I'm not exactly friends with him anymore. If he found out I was dating him, he would kill the both of us. Dad walked with me to our house since we were practically next door, but still a few yards away. We got to our house and he got in my face. I could smell the alcohol on his breath.

"My office. Five minutes. Move it." was all he said. I literally made a bee line up there so he wouldn't do anything. Suddenly he came in. But the piece of silver in his hand scared me to the point of a panic attack. He's never been this mad before. What happened? Why was he getting this mad? He's never done something like this before. Sure, he's use the occasional computer chair and books before, but he's never used this! I noticed he was using the gift he got from Chris and Hunter a few years back. Well, that's one way to fear my brothers for the first time ever.

"You should've stayed in that basement. Now you're gonna regret it!" He charged at me, and this is one of the only times I wasn't gonna take his beating. I mean, he had a blade on him! Do you think I'm gonna stand and let myself possibly get killed!?! I dodged his charge, causing him to fall onto his computer desk.

"Get back here you worthless piece of shit!" I escaped his office and pretty much made a bee line for the front door and escaped the house. After about 10 minutes he had pretty much chased me all over the property. But because of the previous beating he gave me, I was losing speed and he was gaining on me. I turned a corner to see if it would put some space between us. Boy was I wrong about that one. He had cut passed me and cut me off so he could tackle me to the ground. My back is gonna hurt from that. He punched me in the face several times to make me bleed before he stabbed me in my side. Eventually I could only see black as I asked God if I had made a mistake by leaving the basement and blacked out while dad beating me to a pulp was the last thing I could remember.
