6: New Environments

Your POV

After that weird black thing made that groaning noise, I ran as fast as my little paws would take me. After becoming breathless, I slowed myself to a stop to catch my breath, and to explore this new area. It was a long dark pathway with the same soft stuff I've been stepping on since I got here. And everything seems so much larger than me. . . I don't like it. I continued walking down the path until I found a small opening with light coming out of it.

Hmm. . . I wonder. . .

I decided to see what was on the other side, so I jogged over to it and took a peek through it. There was this. . . long thing with colorful stuff on it. As I slowly crawled through the crack, the place on the other side got bigger in size; I stared at the wonders around me.

I remember this place. . . I woke up in this place and played with the human's shirt!

I ran to the long colorful thing and jumped into it. Being as playful as I was, I ran all along the soft parts and made it messy. "(F/N)!!!"

"MEW!!!" I replied to the familiar deep voice and the world begin the crack as sounds can be heard coming closer. I felt fear crawl up my body as I hid under the colorful flat- thingies. I heard something make a sound. "Where is she? I heard her meowing from in here."

"I-I don't know. . ." I'll look in the bathroom."

"I'll check the room." The familiar voice made me calm down as I slowly poked my head out and into the open. "(F/N)?"

"Mew." He looks in my direction and he smiled. "Eren, I found her." He came closer to me as yet another human showed up. He was the one who knew I wanted food, so I wasn't upset or anything. "Mr. Levi, y-your bed is-"

"It's just the sheets, an easy fix." The human known as Mr. Levi petted me behind my ear, and I just sat there and enjoyed his touch. "Crazy cat. . ."

"I think s-she likes it when you scratch there."

"I can see." He kept scratching at both my ears while opening the tall flat thing and walked into the much larger place. Mr. Levi places me on the long comfy thing and walked away. "So Eren, we need cat food for her."

"True, w-we need a litter b-box too."

Ring! Ring!

"Hello?" Mr. Levi answers.

. . .

"Ok. . ." The room is silent for a minute or two. "What do you want Hanji?"

"Are you doing ok?!"

"I'm fine, and don't yell while on speaker."

"Sorry. . . . But Erwin just wanted to know."

"Yeah. . . Eren is here, say hi."

"BABY!!!!"

"H-hi Hanji-san."

"How are you, my little brownie boy?!"

"I'm o-ok."

"That's good! I and Erwin are away on business, but make sure you stay warm!!"

"Sure. . . I-I guess."

"Great!!! Now, Levi!!"

"What is it?"

"You NEED a DOG!!!"

"I don't need a dog."

"Aww, why not?!"

"Because I have a cat now."
