Levi's POV

After about a good 20 minute drive, we finally made it to the hospital Eren was in. According to the news that Erwin is blasting from his phone, Eren and his friends went to the Hall of Legends when he suddenly passed out from exhaustion and lack of air going into his lungs. He was rushed to the nearest hospital minutes later. From what the doctors say, he had hyperventilated before passing out, which was said to be the cause. But either way, that brat better not die on me.

Not when I'm still around to say otherwise.

We signed in at the front desk and the head doctor, Dr. Sevó, led us up to the fourth floor, where Eren was. "You have to be a little quiet, Eren was sleeping a few moments ago when I left. Everyone else is in the lunchroom down the hall. Feel free to help yourselves to any food we have there." He hands the three of us key cards to his room and bows to us before speeding off. "Back here again huh?"

"What are you talking about Hanji?" I asked.

"Last time I was here, you were the one that was in a coma."

"Eren isn't in a coma. He just passed out."

"It's the same thing!!" Hanji rushed up to Eren's door.

"No, it isn't." I caught up to her and slid the keycard in the slot. It made a little sound knowing that the door had opened. "Eren? We're coming in. . ." Hanji spoke as I slowly opened the door to reveal a lot of machines and Eren with an air mask on for him to breathe. From a distance, his skin eas a frosty color, indicating his somewhat lack of life. I quietly walked over to his bedside while Hanji pushes Erwin in. I took a chair and say down next to him, careful as to not wake him. "Is he doing ok?" Erwin whispered from the other side of the room. I leaned in a little closer to check his breathing. "He's wheezing a little, but he's fine."

"Good. I'm a little hungry. . ." Erwin walks towards the door. "Hanji?"

"I'll come too." Hanji slips out the open door.

"I'll stay here for a while." I kept my eyes on Eren. Guessing that Erwin knew what I meant because he gave me a simple ok and closed the door behind him. I leaned back in my chair with a sigh.

He's still a kid, huh?

"M-Mr. . ." I quickly turned towards the bed to see Eren staring at me.

"How do you feel?" Eren smiles weakly.

"I-I don't. . . . remember. . . what happened. . ."

"It'll come to you in time. Don't sweat." I fixed his blanket, so he wouldn't be cold. "You passed out in the museum. That's what I heard."

". . . Passed. . . out?"

"Yeah. But don't worry, we're all here in the hospital."

"Mr. . ."

"What is it?"

". . . There was- this letter." Eren sat up slowly. I offered to help, but he turned me down. "I read it in the m-museum."

"A letter?"

"It talked about. . . . Uh-" He held onto his head.

"Take it easy Eren, you just woke up." I placed a hand on his shoulder until he was ready to talk again.

"It t-talked about reincarnation. . ."

"Reincarnation- like the rebirth of someone or thing?"

"Yeah. . . It was in a letter t-that I-," he pauses. "That I wrote."

"Eren, that's impossible. You weren't alive back then."

"I know. . . But Mr. Levi- I saw it. I s-swear."

"I know. I believe you. But I'm not sure reincarnation is possible. I don't think anyone has proved the theory-"

"Talk to Hanji-San. She knows." Eren cuts me off.

"Four eyes?"

"The l-letter says she found a way to t-travel to the future."

"How?"

"Her closet. That's what it said."

Her closet? I don't get it.

"Are you sure Eren?"

"Please Mr. Levi. T-talk to her. . . For me?" I only sighed and rubbed my head, which hurts even more than before.

"Fine. . . I'll be right- right back. . ." I stood up and slowly swayed over to the door. The world around me started to blur slightly as I felt myself fall to the ground.

Eren's POV

"Mr. Levi!!!" I ripped all the medical equipment off me and stumbled over to him. "Mr. Levi?! Are you ok?!" I grabbed his hand to bring his arm over my shoulders and realized his skin is very cold. "You're freezing!" I hoist him up and carefully walk him to the bed. "Let. . . me go. . ."

"Not until I help you!" He was heavily panting like he lost a lot of breath at one time. To check, I placed him on the bed carefully and placed the air mask on him so he can get some air. Then, I checked his pulse and the tightness of his lungs. "His lungs are very tight. . . Maybe he's just exhausted? No, it happened too quickly to be exhaustion. But he's not hyperventilating either. . ." I put a finger to my chin for a second to think.

"You. . . didn't stutter. . ."

"Huh?" I looked at Mr. Levi and placed the blanket over him.

"You didn't. . . stutter. That's. . . good-"

"Shh. . . Just breathe. . ." I tried soothing him as much as I can while reaching to the button that calls the nurses.

"You know. . ." Mr. Levi starts talking. "If she came through a fucking closet. . . It should be in her house, right?"
