Mall

Nicki, Z and I are in the mall just to get a few things. Z has been good this past month. She's been helping around the house and keeping her room tidy. The things kids will do for technology. So far she's earned: her phone, laptop, TV and headphones back. It's almost Christmas and it's our first one as a family so I want it to be special.

Me and Nicki were looking at some clothes while Z stood there on her phone. She looked up and I could see this bag caught her eye. Normally she'd say something right now but she just stared at it. Nicki nudged me and nodded.

B: you want that bag Z?

She turned her head to me.

Z: um...

B: do you want it yes or no?

She nodded a little. I got it off the shelf and put it in the cart. I could feel her doing her little happy dance so I turned and I was right. I giggled and we walked to the checkout. Once I paid for it she hugged me.

Z: thank you so much mommy. I appreciate it.

I smiled and kissed her head.

B: you're welcome baby girl. You guys ready to go?

They nodded and we went home. While me and Nicki were sat watching TV we heard Z shout.

Z: mama!

O: in the living room!

A few seconds later she came through.

Z: can you help me with my maths homework please?

O: ok bring it here and we'll work through it.

She nodded and went to go and get it.

O: she's been good this month

B: she has. What kids do for technology.

She giggled.

O: I love you pop pop

B: why do you call me that?

O: because you like the old folks

B: am not!

She laughed and then Z came back downstairs with her maths homework. Z sat on her lap as she explained what she didn't get and Nicki went over it with her and helped Z with her method.

Z: thanks mama

She kissed her cheek, Nicki smiled and kissed her cheek.

O: no problem baby.

B: while I'm sat over here pop pop And all getting no kisses.

They bombarded me with kisses and hugs. I laughed.

B: ok i feel loved now.

O: good. Should I order dinner?

B&Z: yes!!!

Nicki giggled and went to go order the food. Z came and laid on me.

B: you're getting too big for me.

I said as I wrapped her in my arms.

Z: no I'm not

She whined in my chest. I giggled.

B: yes you are. Soon enough you'll be living in your own house

Z: no! I'm staying with you and mama

I giggled. I love teasing Z. I kissed her forehead.

Z: mommy what are we doing for Christmas?

B: we're gonna spend Christmas here but Christmas dinner we're going to grandmas.

Z: yay!

I smiled and we watched TV until Nicki came back.

O: I ordered us pizza and chicken.

B&Z: yas!

She laughed

O: y'all are fattys

B&Z: nu uh!

Z: we're what you call curvy.

We couldn't help but giggle. Sometimes this girl comes out with some of the smartest comments.
