I can feel his stare.

His intense, powerful stare that causes my heart to beat faster than it already is.

He looks away.

Slowly, I turn my head and look up at his face. I make out the distinct features of his face, like his big eyes and round nose, his massive lips and his facial hair. He's perfect.

When I realize he can tell I'm staring, I quickly look away.

Suddenly, he brings a hand to my cheek and says, "Don't look away."

Before I can react, his lips collide onto mine and my hand goes to the back of his neck.

He kisses me in a way I've never been kissed before. I feel something in my heart, and in my body. He becomes everything, and I'm completely unaware of the room or the movie or the world.

His soft lips touch mine passionately, communicating in a special way. It's a feeling I would love to feel every single day. His lips and the way he kisses me is so perfect that I almost don't feel the pain when he brushes my hair behind my shoulders.

I flinch when he touches the bruise on my shoulder, and immediately pull away.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-" He starts.

"Don't worry. It's just a bruise." I say as nonchalantly as I can.

"What happened?" He asks curiously.

"I just ran into a door the other night." I try to make it seem like I'm being truthful.

He looks into my eyes, as if he knows I'm lying and he's searching for the truth. But the truth is not in my eyes.

After a few more seconds, he leans slowly back in and gently pulls me closer to him.

Our lips crash together again, and we make out slowly and passionately. I feel loved for the first time, and it's a feeling I want to become familiar with.

I let him take me back to the magical place I was just in, the place where the world is no longer there and he's the only thing I'm aware of.

_____

We were so lost in each other and in our kiss that we didn't realize the ending credits were long over.

The lights come on and a security guard clears his throat.

Simon pulls away, and a smile forms on his face as if he's stifling a laugh.

"Sorry, we'll leave now." He says.

He takes my hand and guides us out, all the way to the car. Snow flurries fall from the dark sky.

I stick my tongue out, trying to catch a snowflake. One lands and promptly melts.

Simon laughs, holding the car door open for me.

He climbs in himself, starting the car and then looking at me before pulling out.

Before he says anything, I start to laugh. No, not just a laugh, a full on cackle.
