Josh sat by his bedroom window, cringing internally as snow began to fall ever so lightly.

Walking to and from work in the snow was a real pain in the ass, even if it was just a literal five minute walk.

Josh couldn't stand the snow, it reminded him of his ex.

Cold hearted and unpredictable.

He didn't feel like going to work today, maybe he could lie and say he got snowed in.

No, he couldn't, it hadn't been snowing long enough for that excuse.

He groaned internally before getting up to get ready.

Maybe there wouldn't be many customers because of the weather, meaning he could shut up early.

He padded through his apartment, changing his clothes as he went. Pulling his jumper over his head as he opened the front door.

He grabbed the music store keys from the side and closed the door behind him.

As he left the apartment block, he patted his back pocket to check for his phone.

Crap.

He'd forgotten it.

Oh well.

Hopefully he wouldn't get any important phone calls today.
