I'm going to be doing more flashbacks since there's such a gap between then and now. Aand I'll be sharing parts of the future, such as this chapter.
Hope you enjoy 😊
_____________________________She walked in my eyes were locked on her.
She's so beautiful.
I can't believe he's actually marrying her, like, he's actually in love with this flawless woman. I'm happy for him of course, but I can't lie, I am jealous.
As she walked to the table, endless eyes followed her and watched as she came by. Her light blue eyes, curly bronze hair, her exaggerated curves, and her unique style. She's perfect.
" Hi Justine" she smiled and sat down across from me
" Hey Melhani, what have you been up to?" I asked staring at her face rather than straight in her light eyes
She huffed " He's been acting a bit strange. He's been ignoring me since I've mentioned the wedding" I listened and stole a sip of my lemon water.
" Did he ever do this to you?"
" What?" I asked just to confirm
" You know, when you guys were dating" I raised my right eyebrow and sat my glass down
" You do realize we dated-"
" I know I know, you guys dated in high school but I'm a bit curious" she released a small smile
" Hello, what would you like to drink?" The waiter walked up and focused on Melhani.
" A Long Island would be fine" he scribbled on his notepad and walked off.
" Um, why are you so curious about our old relationship? These questions are getting annoying and weird" I stated
" Well, you're the only one of his exes that actually gets along with me you know and you should know more about him then me" she shrugged
" That's sounds stupid" I spoke bluntly
" Why? I feel like we should be able to talk about him without tension since we both have been with him and we both know him, you know? Maybe you can give me some helpful tips like what makes him happy or what sets him off"
I rolled my eyes and sat back " Look, I don't want our relationship built on my old relationship. If you think you can just get all the information from me then you got me fucked up. We can talk about regular girl shit rather than my fucking ex, comprende?" Her smile softened up and she nodded
" Here you go" he sat the drink on the table. She gave an extra friendly smile and wink
" Your name is Derek?" She asked looking at his name tag.
" Yeah" He laughed " Too bad you don't have a name tag"
What the fuck is going on...
" Derek don't start" they laughed
" When you gonna stop by?" He asked
" When I want to" she smirked " I knew you couldn't resist me for long" she playfully pushed him away
Once he was across the restaurant I turned towards her. " What was that?"
She smiled and stole a sip of her drink. " Well you know" she flipped her hair "We fuck with each other here and there"
" Fuck with each other as in-"
" Yep. I'm not completely married yet so until then I can still play around right?" She shrugged and continued to drink.
I looked at her with disgust
" don't look at me like you never had a little boy toy on the side" I quickly shook my head
" Then your missing out. And a guy like him" referring to Derek " Is something worth having. That boy knows how to lay it down" her smiled grew as if she was blushing.
I stayed quiet. It's messed up but I can't get involved with their relationship.
" So what are you going to eat?" She asked
